Theres got to be something going on with AT&T and Apple.. I mean looking at this list.. you're telling me there isn't a single AT&T iPhone 6+ available in any Apple store in the country? I call BS.

Has anyone gone to Apple this weekend - Today and picked up a 6+? Anyone wake up today and got a shipping email?

I'm finally getting my phone tomorrow! Just got the fedex text saying the package was just picked up in Ft. Worth which then prompted me to check the order status at ATT and sure enough, it updated within the last hour.

For reference, I'm premier, ordered the 6+, SG, 64gb @ 3:05AM EST on 9/12. Got the email confirmation at 4:25AM

Ordered same phone.. after me.. the kicker.. you're premier. Still no info on mine.

Has anyone who is a non-ATT-Premier customer (regular AT&T) who ordered during the early morning hours of 9/12 actually gotten a shipping notification for their 16GB iPhone 6 Plus SG yet?

Regarding 6+ availability, the link might not be too far off the mark.

This weekend, the wife and I stopped by Best Buy Mall of Georgia just to look at cases for these things (they're about as scarce as the devices themselves). We asked one of the retail folks if they had a floor model of the 6/6+ to see (to that point, we had never actually seen them in-hand).

Based on how he had to go pull them from a separate location and then hovered over them as we looked at them (and as a line was forming behind us), I ended up calling him the iPhone 6 bouncer!

He also mentioned that Best Buy wasn't expecting to get any 6+ devices in until the November time frame.

Therefore, I'm thinking that the 6+ is really, really supply-constrained, especially if the glass panel yield rumors are true; 50 - 60% positive yield for the 6+, 80 - 90% for the 6.

But you went to a BB.. I'm talking about an Apple store. Apple will fill their stores up way before giving extra stock to other companies.

Yes my sister ordered her phone on 9/11 10 min before the official 12:01 and she ordered a iPhone + 16GB Gold. She had dates of 10/2-10/13 but she was lucky enough and got it on friday. (Note none premier)

Congrats. Same configuration for me but ordered at 3:07am and email at 4:34am. Probably 200,000 phone orders between you and me though. Haha. Getting closer though. Thanks for updating us.

Oh, absolutely. And we also visited the Apple Store at Mall of GA. When asked about 6+ availability, they simply said to check again sometime Monday (it was Sunday that we visited).

So, anecdotally, all the evidence points to a very severe supply constraint across the board for 6+ devices.

Looks like we got some movement in the Apple stores on that grid link. A handful of stores are now reporting AT&T 6+ for instore pickup. Keep an eye out today as stores will be getting deliveries all day of various things.

And it makes sense the availability is much lower on AT&T because since they were the exclusive carrier for so long, they have a good chunk of the iPhone owners on their plans, and the people like myself coming back over from Android to the iPhone. VZ, Sprint and TMO have a good amount of iPhone users, but a majority of them are on AT&T.

The 16/64GB Space Gray seems to be the #1 most in demand model, so, yes, they will be short on those as well, considering according to the Seaturtle tracker chart, there are very few, if any 16/64/128 SG's to be had ANYWHERE. So It's both a popularity and a production issue.

And Premier doesn't mean any special treatment, just means you get a discount through your employer so you go through a different ordering system, you're still fighting upstream for the next available phone just like anyone else.

Disclaimer: I'm still waiting on my 64GB 6+ SG as well. 10/31-11/11 Ship date.

Shipping confirmations prove otherwise to that point. Yes, you technically get only a discount. However, a lot of huge businesses are on premier accounts. AT&T knows they have to keep those members happy and I'm sure there was a ton of outrage from those users. It appears as though, over the last 5 days or so, AT&T has shifted supplied and been fulfilling almost only premier orders.

Gosh, that shipping dates some 2-3 weeks later than mine and I still don't have one. Wouldn't be surprised to see you get one first though, good luck!

I don't think anybody non premier has gotten anything. Ordered 1:30am PST on 9/12. 6+ gold 64gb, always been stuck at 10/13-10/22.

I think it's absolutely idiotic that people think ahead of time and beat lines of getting the 6 or 6 plus. And pre order the phone then they wait 4 weeks for their phone. Apple should realize that and reward the people who were smart and went ahead and paid their money. The pre orders should be taken care of before they even release it to the people who wanted in line for it and got it.

No. I never understand how people can think this way.. if someone wants to wait in line for 44 hours then let them; I'd say they earned their phone. It's a fine line between balancing preorders and balancing in store quantities.

Apple will always fill their stores and preorders before they give it to anyone else because that directly impacts their image. All of us are mostly pissed at AT&T, with a hint of anger at Apple.. yet Apple controls how many phones AT&T gets...

hahahahahahahahahahaha!!! What exactly are you trying to get them to do for you? Just curious.. let us know what happens.

My order didn't process till the 16th. They haven't been able to explain why and I have that 11/2 - 11/27 date when I ordered at 2:54 am CST. Maybe everything is correct and I'm just being a baby (75% chance of that)? So, now I'm just signing up to get Apple store updates, I'll hopefully be getting about 10 emails/texts soon.

1st MacRumor Post!

Hi all, wanted to give my pre-order info/experience and get feedback.

-New Customer switching from Sprint.
-9/12- placed order @ 7a EST (not through premiere site because iphone6 wasn't on the premiere page)
-iPhone 6 gold 64gb
-iPhone 6 silver 64gb
-ship dates set to 10/9 and 9/30 with status page sitting at "preparing to ship

Wanted to post because I've seen 2 other threads for PLUS ONLY orders but seems like every reply has mentioned the +. I've seen 2 posts in the last 10pages for non plus.

3 Complaints:
1) My order status page lists my order "placed" date as 9/20 and not 9/12 which is annoying
2) I was charged 2 days ago for my order that I don't have
3) I've heard people say they can't cancel??

Premier Customer
6+ SG 64GB
Order confirmation email on 9.12 at 3:25 AM CST, followed by 2 texts and PDF.
Stuck in Est Ship 10.2-10.13.
Just canceled preorder.
Clicking blue button sends cancel confirmation email. That email has a link to confirm cancelation. Once you confirm, it's canceled. A second email is sent stating the order has been canceled.

I'll likely switch carriers. AT&T was way too unprofessional throughout this. Even a simple "We're sorry, we experienced significantly higher preorder volumes than we anticipated, we appreciate your business..." email would have gone a long way, but nothing. They've kept everyone in the dark about the delays, about who's order gets filled and how/why.

I AM a premier customer, and I am stuck with these exact dates. I ordered around 7am on the 12th.

They have not been unprofessional at all. You said yourself that your estimated shipping date has always been at 10/2 - 10/13. You have never been in the dark as to when you would receive your phone. Where have they promised anything different?

I bet you got a ton of participation trophies when you were a kid.
