I talked to my UPS guy today and he said they ABSOLUTELY CANNOT LEAVE IT ANYWHERE. THEY WILL KEEP IT AND EITHER TRY AGAIN OR YOU CAN PICKUP AT LOCAL UPS WHAREHOUSE.

Not sure about UPS but I know fedex does not. Left mine on the front porch today(6+) and did the same with my wives on launch day (6). Both shipped fedex.

Folks this is a YMMV situation. Both carriers regularly leave packages for us without signature. Including iPhones.

Today, UPS left three 6's from ATT at my back door with no signature, and on the 19th Fedex left a 6 from Apple at my back door. Again, no signature.

More importantly, my 6+, 128, gold, is STILL stuck in 877-backordered 10/2-10/13 limbo :(

I WANT MY PHONE

wow, AT&T just blueballed me, just got an e-mail that said "YOUR ATT ORDER STATUS" so i'm thinking OMG AM I GETTING MY PHONE EARLY?

nope it's just a "Your order is still on schedule to ship 11/9 - 11/27" e-mail. Seriously? Go pack some more phones!

I know, right? What the heck is the purpose of those emails?

still waiting at 10/13-10/21. Hoping for a tracking number tonight and a phone tomorrow so I could possibly get it before the weekend, but that seems impossible now.

Just for everyone's info, I ordered a Silver 64GB Plus at 3:30am Central from the AT&T Premier site. I then ordered an additional Space Grey Plus at 3:34am Central. The first one arrived today, and late tonight I got tracking info on the 2nd one. So by tomorrow I'll have both of my orders. It was a long week, but I made it.

Just got my iPhone 6 Plus delivered this afternoon and took the day off since no one else was going to be home.

I love my iPhone 6 Plus. It's the most beautiful phone I have ever owned.

The screen is just amazing. The OS. The...I can't describe the feelings of elation.

I do not regret dumping Android at all. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

This morning I checked AT&T and it still said Expected Ship Date: 10/13 to 10/22.
Got home from work this evening and checked and it says my iPhone 6 Plus has shipped out FedEx Priority Overnight. Yoohoo! :)

It depends on what the shipper (At&t) pays for. It cost the shipper more for sig required. Just leave the driver a signed note if u want it left on porch.

FEDEX just left mine, no signature needed!
Just put on the porch and left!

Did anyone with a 6+ and ship date of 11/9+ have any movement on their order? i was looking for a 11/9+ ship date thread but didnt see one.

1:30 am here and pretty stoked. Called 877 and the kind lady said the phone has been shipped. Given that I ordered on 9/23, I feel special. :D

Hang on tight guys.

Meanwhile mine still says 10/02/14 - 10/13/14 with no updates. Which 6+ did you order? I ordered 128GB SG.

shipped

ordered on 9/12 had a ship date of 11/09-11/29 status changed on 877 number to processing and few hrs later it has shipped!!

64 + space gray , premiere , located in GA!!

Hey guys, I saw that many of you are worried that UPS will require a signature to leave the package. I was just on the website and you can sign for packages online if you can't be home when it arrives. It's basically a pre authorization to leave it at your door. Pretty neat.

Can everyone include what part of the country they are in when you get your shopping notification??? I'm in Boston, ordered 330am on the 12th, 16GB/SG 6 + Premiere. It'll give us all a good idea what areas are getting shipments.

Thanks and hang in there. Another 10/2-10/13

I'm in the Boston area as well.

Santa Claus gets a damn 6 Plus before us!!!!! WTF IS AT&T doing over there??? I mean seriously, how many planes are flying to the North Pole??? Who did Mrs. Claus have to sleep with???

LOL

Only she knows, but I heard she slept with a grandfather

Finally! iPhone 6 silver 16GB shows pending shipment via fedex. 877 changed from backordered to processing about 24 hours ago. It actually still says process as of right now but the website showings it is leaving the fedex facility.

Congrats!

Happy to say I finally got my iPhone 6 + 16GB SG, had a shipping date of 10/2-10/13.

Yes there is hope for everyone it seems the logjam is breaking, got mine at noon yesterday

----------

Ok. After all my whining and crying my status went from processing to shipped. Delivery set for tomorrow via ups. Do they require a signature because I am not seeing it.

I have heard AT&T does not require, Fedex guy just handed mine to me at noon yesterday no signature.

----------

UPS does I believe. I've been hearing reports of Fedex just leaving the phones.

Yes but I was waiting for Fedex, watching tracking closely and knew it was out for delivery by 7:42 AM yesterday, got it 3 hours ahead of estimated 3 PM delivery. No signature required he just handed it to me.

----------

Everyone that's still waiting for a tracking number......When you do get it, can you let us all know what part of the country your in so that we can get a good idea what areas of receiving shipments??? I'm in Boston, ordered 323am on the 12th. 6 Plus 16/SG with a 10/2-10/13 shipping timeframe.

Urbana east central Illinois, Fedex yesterday at noon SG, 128 GB Plus
