I ordered a iPhone 6+ on 9/17 and the date AT&T gave me was 11/19 to 11/27 so I went to an Apple store in my local mall last friday and they had them in stock so I cancelled my order at the AT&T store in the mall and now I have my iPhone 6+. Screw AT&T they take forever.

My Story
Well, I joined so I could update everyone on my journey.
I order @ 2:41am CST on the 12th of September an iPhone 6+ 128G SG.
Got a confirmation email @ 2:48am of my order with expected ship date of 14-21 days.
Was sent another email on the 16th of September around 9am CST stating my expected ship date was between Oct. 2nd-13th.
It was in "preparing to ship" mode with that same date range until around 4pm CST today, where it changed to processing.
I got an email stating it had shipped @7:32pm CST from Ft. Worth.
It is being shipped via USPS Priority Mail. Normally things shipped in this way from Ft. Worth take a day to get to my little country home.
Stay positive... there is movement and hopefully a silver lining for us all.
I WILL NEVER PREORDER FROM ATT AGAIN! I only hope someday I can leave them, but unfortunately there is not as good of cell service with the other carriers here... yet. When that day comes I will drop 'em like it's hot!

I did not pre-order but I check here because I want all of you to get your phones so I can get the 64GB Silver that I ordered on 9/26. I ordered about the same time last year with the 5s and got my phone around this time last October so I wasn't planning on it being November this time before having my phone.
I was just reading on Forbes that lead times are getting shorter. It also said we 64GB people have the longest lead times.

I don't see many people anywhere talking about 64GB pluses shipping. I can't find them in stock for AT&T anywhere either.
I wonder if Apple will increase production enough to get phones out to people ordering in Nov. and Dec. for Christmas?

This is brutal to read because I ordered the exact same phone and got my confirmation literally two minutes after you got yours, yet mine hasn't shipped! Well I guess it's good news because mine should ship very soon if there's any rhyme or reason to this. Anyway, congrats!!
Good luck with that. Ordered my iPhone 6 (not plus) from store last Tuesday. Expected ship dates between yesterday and tomorrow, this morning it was pushed to 10/10-10/21 lol @ this whole joke of an experience. Thinking I should wait another year
The guys at ATT told me people have been getting their 6s within 5 business days, but before I actually bought the phone they told me 10-14 business days. So I have hope. Also it seems like the Space Gray and Silver models take longer to ship.
Awesome! I'm in the 9/29-10/8 ship date range and no updates... just waiting for my window to get pushed back! I'll be just a little pissed once it does
Been waiting since 9/18 and that model is stocked throughout the US in all Targets. Absolutely ridiculous!

I am so sorry you have to wait so ridiculously long especially ordering on the first day.....not to add pain to your misery but I ordered a few days after you, also through the Premier website and have the same dates. This is madness and utter confusion. While in the beginning it was interesting and kind of exciting, now it is just frustrating and beyond comprehension.....
ok, so that was my rant for today. I certainly hope you get your phone way sooner than that time frame!!!!

I never received a confirmation email for my order and it was placed with CSR. I check it online - online will also have the order number and all the other info.
Nowhere in sight
Ordered online iphone 6plus space gray and 16gb on 9/12 at 2:43 CDT - still on backorder. I called AT&T today and was told twice that it had been shipped but when I asked for a tracking number they then said it hasn't been shipped.
They have assured me it will be shipped by 10/13 but I think they are just making that up.

NP, us over in the VZW forums have been watching the Fedex flights a lot since ours get shipped on there. It appears we have a ANC to MEM flight and a hong kong to memphis and a Shanghai to memphis one. All big boys.
