Glad you are getting yours ahead of schedule. What's odd is I ordered mine two days after you and my ship window doesn't start until 10/21. I guess it could be driven by the difference in color (I ordered SG versus silver). Still seems odd. I cannot believe Apple would not have anticipated this demand based on early projections. Sad but true.

I was tempted but the only thing keeping me is the $200 upgrade they offered for my old 4S when ordering before Sept 30th. I see Walmart has a double up that gets me to $190, but not sure if they have stock or do Next. Ah well, it's just a phone, I keep telling myself.
When my fiance's phone shipped, we got the Information about your AT&T plan email too - that tipped me off to it coming. Still waiting for mine tho - he got a 6 and I got a 6 plus so I will be waiting for a Loooong time.
I noticed that when I ordered. Ordering a 64GB SG iPhone 6 would have meant a 21-35 business day shipment window, as compared to my 14-21 business day window. (Gold would have been shorter, 128 GB would have been shorter...) Maybe Apple predicted that gold would be as popular a color as it was last year...
I ordered three phones and I got three e-mails titled Information about your AT&T plan e-mails on Friday Oct 3rd. Im in the Oct 13th Oct 22nd dates.
Im still on back-order for my phones, I'm wondering how long after you got the e-mail did you get a shipment notification?
It was the next business day. I got the email Thursday night, Sept 25 and it shipped out on Friday and arrived on Tuesday.

I'm now getting the message "one or more of your items is temporary out of stock" when I call the 866 number. Previously I've heard that my order has been processed and sent to the warehouse for processing. Anyone else had a similar change?

mine has been like that for a week. ordered 09.12 0258am central time. shipping date 10.02 -10.13
I guess it's standard operating procedure for AT&T to give everyone the run around? My shipping range is 09/25/14 - 10/06/14 and there haven't been any updates. Dealing with customer service has been a fun waste of time.

I ordered on 9/16/14 (16gb silver) and received the estimate shipping dates of 9/25-10/6. Today I checked and it says it changed from "Shipping Pending" to "Backordered".
So I checked out iStocknow.com and it stated that my local target store had the phone in stock. So I went during my lunch and the website is pretty accurate. Went to my email and clicked on the link with my pre-order details (premier) and canceled my pre-order. I was kind of hesitant it would work but it did work and was updated within seconds.
Walked out after an hour of setting it up at Target with my new phone.
Do yourselves a favor and just go to a Target if there is one in your area that has them in stock. Don't bother with At&t. They really dropped the ball with this one.
I also set it up at Target with the Next program.

Same exact order. Placed order on 9/23 and shipping date is between 10/13 and 10/22.

I wish it was that easy for me. We have to order through our company and thus a third party. They place the order with AT&T. If I could cancel and do what you did, I would do it right this second.
I ordered on the 12th and have always gotten a message that says "the items in your order are currently on backorder..."
I feel your pain. I even called and chatted with At&t twice and just got the run around. I really hope you get SOMETHING soon. Tracking, phone or any updated information.

Apple will launch the iPhone 6 16GB variant in India at a price of Rs. 53,500, while the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus will start at Rs. 62,500. The phones will be available in India starting October 17, in line with the date that was last seen on Apple's India website. Apple authorised dealers will start taking pre-orders next week, with customers who pre-book receiving their units on 16th night itself.
Just say this article. Must be nice for them to receive their preorders before they actually go on sale. Guess they are making their phones right now instead of making mine.

So I ordered a 128gb Gold 6+ on launch day (3 minutes before pre-orders went live)
Two days ago I got an e-mail saying my phone has shipped, and they gave me a tracking number. (USPS)
Tracking number wouldn't work at all until today and now it says that they've gotten notification of a package to be shipped, but not that a package has actually BEEN shipped.
Just wondering what the usual activity is with this. Do they typically ship USPS? And how long did it take to get any actual activity? It's 2 day shipping, but that doesn't help much unless they actually ship the thing.

Two times att canceled his order last night so he had to call att today to place the order. after they got the order placed the person who was helping him said their phones would ship in 7-14 days. So that means they must be getting a shipment in soon.
