I ordered a silver 64GB iPhone 6 in the morning of 9/20 through AT&T and received a shipping window of 10/9-10/27. Saturday, I received an odd email from AT&T about a recent change to my service plan, and Sunday (yesterday), I received an email that the phone had shipped for Tuesday delivery.
Glad you are getting yours ahead of schedule. What's odd is I ordered mine two days after you and my ship window doesn't start until 10/21. I guess it could be driven by the difference in color (I ordered SG versus silver). Still seems odd. I cannot believe Apple would not have anticipated this demand based on early projections. Sad but true.
