AT&T Pre-order status

Sorry # I don't know .. I'm not an AT&T customer I just browse around the thread for any info I can relay to my gf regarding her order.

I'm with tmobile and all the people who got their orders messed up and had long waits emailed the CEO and got replies from members of his exec team and got 200$+ credits to their bills and actual answers regarding their order. Also a lot of unicorn orders got fulfilled as well. I myself ordered Iphone 6 16gb SG after my gf and got my phone 5 business days later and the shipping was upgraded to next day air free of charge. Yet she's still waiting for a regular 6 (16gb silver) getting mid October time frame with no movement from "pending shipping" is obsurd.

What's funny is their website says my order is preparing to ship, but the ship window starts on 10/21. I call the 877# and they tell me it's on back order. To me, preparing to ship and on back order are not the same.

I went ahead with AT&T, since I wasn't sure how how the sim card thing works. Probably could have looked up it in a few mins but I just went for it. Since that's what I did last time and know what to expect.

What is the estimate for apple anyway right now? I think I still have 24 hours to cancel if I find a compelling enough reason to...

I went with my neighbor to the local ATR&T store to help him order two iphones. He ordered 2 16GB iphone 6 plus and his estimated shipping dates are 11/17/14 - 11/26/14. The AT&T rep who helped us said 7-14 days. So I dont know who to believe. lol

I just checked apple.com the iPhone 6 is shipping between 7-10 days and the iPhone 6 Plus is 3-4 weeks.

Another update. Went to the First Colony Apple store today and picked up my SG 64GB 6plus! It is awesome. Screw pre-ordering from At&t again. They gave me the November 27th date.

From what I've heard, AT&T will honor the $200 if you manage to find a phone and cancel the 'preorder'. People have found them at their Apple stores, canceled the online order and went to their respective AT&T stores to turn in their old iPhones. I may do this next week when our new Apple store opens up....

I asked this when I ordered mine (9/16) as I had to renew my contract so it should count as having done it before 10/1.
