cancelling order

Hey Steve,
I called att and they let me cancel my order...wonder why you can't? did you call the store or the 800 #? I called the 800#
 
I cancelled yesterday as well.

This was my 2nd cancellation with AT&T as well. Initially placed order for 2 6's on day of pre-order. Silver and gold 64gb. Got frustrated cancelled and went in store and replaced. Ended up with same shipment windows which one of them ended yesterday and it got pushed back another 2 weeks. Called an cancelled and 15min after I cancel and get email I get my FIRST email from AT&T in a month saying my order is pushed back. AT&T has no idea what they're doing right now.

All points aside I check my local apple store at 8a am they had a 64gb silver plus (didn't want plus) that is now waiting for my pickup at the store. Will be ordering my wife's 64gb gold I store at apple today.

AT&T is lucky I'm most interested in their hotspot and ability to use phone and data at same time cause their customer service BLOWS more than a whale.

I'll keep everyone posted on how quick I get the apple shipment but good luck to all!

You know Verizon has VoLTE now, right? AT&T isn't the only Voice + Data carrier anymore.
 
Preordered 9/12 1:30 pm w/ ship dates 11/9-11/27. It sucks that some who ordered in Oct. have already gotten either their phones or shipping notifications before me. Have been checking my order status everyday but no change, still "preorder processing" and no change in ship dates. But I am hopeful my phone will arrive soon as my card was finally charged today. No notification for shipment yet though. AT&T 128 gb 6+ gold

called the 877 number this morning and asked why I haven't received any updates since my credit card was charged yesterday. the agent I spoke with said no changes seen as of now, i still have the 11/9-11/27 window. agent filled out an escalatin ticket for me. keeping my fingers crossed.;)
 
Updating my situation for everyone.

Ordered 128gb silver 6+ on Release Friday - Expected delivery in the November window.

Got sick of waiting, canceled in the ATT store yesterday and ordered 128gb silver 6 - was in stock for delivery and is already on the way, should be here tomorrow.

Looks like it's coming towards the end of the road for me. To those who are thinking about canceling your orders hold out for at least another week or or two. I JUST CHECKED AND MY PHONE SHIPPED YESTERDAY. I ordered on 9/25 6+ SG 128GB estimated ship window was 11/4-11/13. I was hoping to get it before I went out or town lol. I left last night and it shipped last night. I've waited almost a month another 7 days won't kill me! Be patient it looks like all the back orders are being filled but the method they are using only AT&T knows lol. Good luck and once again DON'T GIVE UP JUST YET!

While I'm glad you got your phone, I'm still <censored so your screens don't melt> angry. Not only did you order the exact same phone after me, and got a later estimated ship date, you got yours.
 
Yeah there were people that ordered in October that got their phones already. I don't know what the heck AT&T is doing. I hope you see movement by the end of this week! Lol @ censored so your screen doesn't melt!

My shipping window was moved out yesterday by two weeks to 11/1-11/14. I cancelled and ordered from Apple, delivery between 11/6-11/10, which is still better and hopefully more of a surety that I will get it within that window

Yeah, still can't beat a free hot spot.

It's also making me laugh seeing people saying hold on a little longer. I did that and I'm not playing those waiting games. I'd rather put the same efforts into checking other stores

Yep me too. This is att's fault on the shipments. Screw them, I may just pay the ETF and go to verizon...

The only way AT&T will improve is if it hits them in the wallet. Leave them for other carriers! That's what I did!
 
Last day of my 10/13 - 10/22 shipping window and there's no movement. I'm still backordered on the 877 number. Truthfully, AT&T has been a pretty big disappointment in this. They are a communications company but they aren't' communicating with us, their customers.

My devices are unlocked and I have no ETFs. After I return from Walt Disney World, I'm thinking about moving to one of the smaller pre-paid carriers. They actually operate on AT&T or T-Mobile's networks but at a lower rate each month.

On a side note, I have seen very few iPhone 6 Plus roaming around WDW. Since I do all the picture spots to get pictures of the girls, I see lots of people taking photos with their phones. I'm seeing iPhone 5(s) and Droids but only a couple iPhone 6's.

Don't get your hopes up. "Escalating" means you'll wait 8 days, have to call them back (although they say they'll call you about the escalation), only to get the answer, "sorry, since it's an automated system, we have no control over ship date."

Website: Backordered with no shipping dates
877: Backordered

This morning:

Website: Preparing to ship (10/13 - 10/22)
877: Being Processed estimated ship date 10/13 and 10/22

On the website it switched from back-order to Preparing to ship (10/13 - 10/22)

I see charges on my CC, I guess its shipping.
 
i just called the 877 number and got a prompt that they were unable to locate my order. Has anyone else gotten this?

Did this ever change for you? My order has said backordered on 877# for 37 days and has now turned to "unable to locate your order". Looks like you still haven't received your phone as of a couple day ago.

877 number says "back ordered" on all four.

Ordered all 4 from a brick & mortar AT&T Store.

The 64GB 6 Silver has now been changed to 11/01-11/14
The 16GB 6 SG now says "Backordered" and no new shipping date.

Very frustrating:mad:. I don't understand why the dates aren't more accurate. This is the 21st century, Apple knows their exact manufacturing yields. They should be able to tell AT&T exactly how many phones are coming their way and when. AT&T should then be able to tell us exactly when our phones will come. I don't mind the waiting so much, IF I KNOW how long the wait is going to be.

Also, it seems that AT&T has lowered the rotation of the ad with Lily reading the customer's mind and saying "We have the new iPhone!" NO YOU DONT!
 
Some info for those still waiting. I went to an ATT corporate store metro Detroit area yesterday evening to try and collect my $300 rebate for the 5s I replaced with 6 Plus.

I ordered on first day and got the 6 Plus just short of 4 weeks later. Received e-mail about sending in 5s for the rebate offer. Decided to try ATT store rather than wait four to six weeks for mail in.

Worked like a charm. In and out within ten minutes. They took my number, checked serial of 5s, confirmed it functioned and issued $300 gift card. Used it immediately to pay next bill. Totally ok with nicks around edges and anodizing rubbed off on spots back of phone.

I asked about their 6 Plus sales. They received 10 for first day and only 2 more since than. So based on this it appears that ATT is prioritizing their ordered backlog. At least based on this one store's anecdotal information.

Just 2 hours ago I checked my status and my shipping date had been moved back to 11/1-11/14. Just happened to check it just now and it shows shipped with a tracking number! It will be here tomorrow :) :) :) :)

6/silver/64gb ordered on 9-23 with original ship dates of 10/13 to 10/22. No changes the entire time until today when they moved my shipping window to 11/1 to 11/14.

There is hope people!! I hope others with the elusive 6/silver/64gb are seeing movement as well!!!

I ordered exact same phone 4 days after you from a brick & mortar AT&T store. Based on this, I should see movement by the first of next week.
