Tomorrow is last day of "shipping window". Just call 877#. Still back ordered.
Like I was gonna see something different.
I'm heading to the Baylor vs. Oklahoma game tomorrow and won't be home until Sunday. Checked Idevicechecker and there are phones in Norman. Not a 128 but a 64. If it's there tomorrow, I will get it. Probably won't still be there. It's at a Target of all places.
This whole process has been horrible. This is the first time I have ordered on line. It will be the last. Done through AT&T.
I have called and emailed the CEO. Got a phone call later that day(3 days ago). It did nothing. Basically said what the CSR's have said. I'm afraid that I have been put on a black list for raising such a stink.
At this point, I will buy it however I can. I did this one on the Next plan. First time doing so, so I don't have a balance on a previous phone. If I have to buy out right, them so be it. I have another line that I can do what ever with.
I have a case, the iPad charger, and multiple screen protectors already.
For fun, I taped my Iphone 4 into the new case and was told by family that I have officially lost it. Lol.
But any way, I'm beyond mad and NO patience left.

We ordered two 6s on 9/28 at our local AT&T. 64GB Gold and 64GB Silver. Both were backordered on 10/15. Out for delivery today.
Bizarre.
I checked the order status page the same as I've done a billions times since 9/23... all of a sudden instead of my ship dates it said "Pending Confirmation." I checked it again a few mins later and it went back to my normal ship dates.

Apple iPhone 6 Plus - 64GB, ordered 9/23, been 'preparing to ship' ever since.
Estimated Shipping Date: 10/31/14 - 11/11/14.
I do hope it gets shipped soon, I literally don't have a home button on my iPhone 5 (Using Activator as a workaround) and the screen is partially detached from the phone, making it somewhat erratic with its response.

When I dropped it and my home button on my current iPhone 5 stopped working, I dropped it again to fix it. Seriously, just hold it a foot or so above the floor and let it fall flat with the screen up.

I hear ya. I'm trying to be patient (as I know everyone is) but 47 days in, this is getting a bit ridiculous. The other bummer is I see a 6+ 64 in stock at a target here right now but Im waiting for ATT since they have the guaranteed $200 trade in for this old 4 I have sitting around.
Good luck to you. Lets hope they pull it off and we get that wonderful shipping email tomorrow.

I have been following the discussion since I ordered my 6 SG 64GB on 9/26 at an AT&T store. And my story isn't that different from others' apart from the fact that I canceled my order and went through Apple. My phone is now on the way.
My AT&T shipping window was 10/27-11/17 (as far as I recall).
I called various times and at one point was promised that my phone will go out on 10/27. It didn't. On 10/28 I saw phones popping up in Apple stores, called one, got confirmation that I'll get one if I come in in the afternoon. I cancelled my AT&T order, called Apple again ... only to hear that all phones are gone. Within 20 minutes, seriously? But, there was nothing I could apart from screaming and asking if they think I am Joseph K. An hour later I ordered my phone through the Apple store (via phone). They acknowledged what happened and gave me 2 day shipping for free. The Apple shipping window was 7-10 days with delivery between 11/12-11/17. Yesterday was day 7 of the shipping window, and I got the shipping notification. Estimated delivery 11/11.
I knew I would take a risk by canceling the order and by that forfeiting my spot in the line. It was simply that once I spoke with Apple I had a much better sense of where things are. They could tell me with much more precision how quickly they would get out that phone.
UPDATE (11/11): Received my phone an hour ago from the friendly hands of the UPS driver. Apple delivered.

Reading through this thread is making me nervous. I just ordered a 64GB 6 through AT&T online (admittedly not considering supply issues beforehand), and was giving the "will ship in 7-10 business days" estimate. If that is the case I am fine with it, but given that it appears many of you who ordered much longer ago still have not received your devices
thinking I should cancel and go through Apple.
You should I ordered a 64gb gold 6 Oct. 3rd over the phone and was told 3-5 days it's been over 30 days.
UGH. I just tried canceling it, but the automated operator told me that "my order has been processed and sent to the warehouse for shipment, and cannot be changed or canceled".
I ordered a 6 + 64 space gray on sept 23rd. Shipping window is 10/31 - 11/10. Still says processing, phone # still says back ordered. I don't imagine it's going to ship on the 10th. I am very seriously considering cancelling the order and try my luck at an AT&T store.

Your upgrade eligibility comes back almost immediately but don't even bother with an ATT store ...none if them will have any
Probably to make sure the credit card is valid and have the money to pay for it... The charge will disappear after a day or so and will appear again when the phone actually ships.
