Completed my order around 3:50am est. my original ship date in the confirmation email was 10/2 - 10/23. Got switched to ship date to 9/17 a 9/18. I'll be out of town for work and my phone is getting shipped to my office. This leaves me open to pranks. I have a feeling the guys are gonna hide it.

While I am excited for a new toy, my excitement is much lower than the iPhone 4 and the iPhone 5. I actually took of work so I could play with the phones on launch day.Now I am just grateful my iPhone 5 made it two years. Didn't even have to get it replaced under warranty.

Which phone did you order? Through AT&T's website?
 
When your order shifts to "Processing," it means we have locked in your address and are processing a package to be shipped to you.

A Processing state also means that we have a unit allocated for your order, and will ship it out in the next couple of days.

Because shipping labels are printed at this stage, we will no longer be able to change your shipping address.
 
Shipment Update

I ordered my phone iPhone 6 64gb Space Grey Saturday at 3:19pm. Got my email at 3:36pm confirming my order. Received a notification today at 12:11pm from FEDEX that a delivery has been scheduled to my address. 1.2 lbs:apple::apple::cool:
 
AT&T: choice of phone impacts your shipping date

Spoke to an AT&T rep about why my shipping date (10/13 - 10/30) was so much later than the 9/19 delivery promised in my confirmation email. She checked that system, and told me that my particular model (iPhone 6 - 128gb Space Grey) was the least available (aside from the 6 Plus), and this was back-ordered. She told me that only 128gb 6's that were shipping on time were the Silver and Gold (same for the 16gb in these colors). Just my luck!

I asked her if I could change my chosen color, and she said that we would have to cancel my order and start a new one -- but this would put me much further back in the queue. Not an option! Especially after I got up at 2:55AM on 9/12 to pre-order!

Like others have said here, if I don't see any change in the estimated shipping date by Wednesday 12/17, I'll cancel (the AT&T rep said it had to be done by phone, and it takes 24-48 hours to restore your upgrade eligibility). Then I"ll get up in the wee hours Friday morning to take my chances either at the Apple store, or an AT&T retail location.
 
AT&T Premier is the business/enterprise website....different from the consumer AT&T site. Most business orders and certain FAN (employee discount accounts) require you to order through that site...

I just ordered through their normal website.
Does it make a difference? I never heard of premier before, but still.. I ordered two days ago and it's saying that I just ordered today.
 
Unless something changes, it looks like most 6Plus ATT buyers are getting their phones in October. I placed 13 orders for my business thru ATT website anywhere between 12 minutes and 30 minutes after pre-sales started and ALL of the iPhone 6's are shipping 9/17-9/18 while ALL of the 6Plus's are showing 10/13-10/22 after being told 14-21 days in the conformation email.

Although i placed 3 orders back to back. ATT gave me 3 different shipping dates for all 3 orders. and i noticed that my ORDER DATE WAS WRONG. they had shifted the dates to the 13th and 14th. I got online with att chat support and she looked into my order. IM SCHEDULED TO RECEIVE ALL 3 IPHONES on 9/19.
I asked in regards to online showing a different date and she explained the systems is currently trying to process and reprocess all the orders/cancellations.

with all that said. the online ship dates haven't ACTUALIZED. keep your hopes up

iphone 6+ 64 gold

maybe the 6's being shipped for friday. I'm getting the 6+ shipped along with.

for the record i completed my orders around 3:40 eastern time using att online
 
So I just checked order status on AT&T website. Says "Preparing to Ship". Says shipping date is 9/23-10/2. My UPS Choice gives me a tracking number and delivery date of 9/19. Do not believe one thing the order status page tells you.

Reference Number

For those with your tracking on UPS already, does the reference number correspond with any of the order numbers on ATT's website? I am shipping to a commercial address so I cannot use either of the UPS or FedEx shipping tools to see if a package is coming. But, if one of the order numbers corresponds, you can look it up based off that. Thanks so much!

No, just checked. no match to confirmation numbers on att website and ups my choice tracking information.

Thanks! Thats really sad... Just gotta hope I get it on Friday... This is what you get when you are stuck in the Apple ecosystem and have to get the more expensive one. ;)
