It is, but I'm reading that some of them moved up to 10/1-10/12 or whatever the one before ours was.
I get a 24% cut in my bill -with premier, it dropped from $80 a month to $49 with a new contract, iphone6 was 0 down I'm getting a $150 for my old iPhone 5. I also now get unlimited calling, I was at 450 minutes, a welcome change, so I'm pretty happy with my upgrade so far...
I have been reading everyones comments and it's interesting that a large portion that ordered early have different shipment times. I tried ordering at 2am CT and had no luck on both sites so I went back to sleep. I tried later that day at 6am and ordered a gold iPhone 6 128gb. I was charged instantly and received two text saying my ordered was processed the next day. My email/status online says shipping date
9/17- 9/18. Hopefully it shows up Friday.

Same here! Was 9/23-10/2, now 9/17-9/18, status still "Preparing for Shipment", though now I have a "Tracking number" field, with a "Shipment Pending" in that field.
Assuming this all sounds good? (grey 4.7" 64gb).
One thing, nothing at all on my credit card... should I be worried??
Also, didn't notice anything about keeping unlimited data, though calling them, they reassured me I still have unlimited.
Should the absence of any charge on my credit card worrying?
Anyone else unable to check order status on the ATT site, not on the premier site? I'm getting a temporary system error message. Maybe they finally realized that everything is wrong so they shut it down. One could only hope... 
Don't blame apple for YOU ordering in the afternoon instead of launch time. You can cry all you want at apple but if you ordered sooner there would be no tears.

First post on these boards, came here specifically because I pre-ordered my iPhone 6 in Space Grey with 64GB from AT&T at 6am ET on 9/12. After checkout I received notification that I would receive the phone on Friday the 19th. Says it will ship the 17th/18th. I've checked my order status a couple of times a day since then and it's still sticking there
I'm replacing my iPhone 5 I got 2yrs ago on AT&T so this is a direct upgrade for me with them. They did charge my CC for the tax on the $750 phone which came out to $50 and some change. On the receipt and confirmation it says your CC won't be charged anything until it ships, but mine was charged instantly and the AT&T rep I talked to over live chat confirmed it was just the tax charge but had no explanation why I was charged instantly when it says you aren't supposed to. I don't care either, if anything it's just more confirmation I'm getting my phone.

Ha! Hoping indeed. My order status page stopped refreshing and just landed on:
"Sorry! Looks like you caught us at a bad time. We are busy fixing a technical issue. We'll be back soon and we apologize for the inconvenience."
Here's to hoping they update account statuses, or at least give someone a damn tracking number or something. Wishful thinking....

I order 2 Silver 6+ 64GB phones for my husband and I at 12:03am PT and 12:15am PT respectively on 9/12, using our NEXT upgrades (for the 1st time).
I received confirmations from Premiere (I get a a discount through my former Community College, FAN member), which gave me shipping dates of 10/22 and 10/31. I also noticed that they changed our data plans to 1GB plans, stating that our current data plan wasn't eligible, even though we share 10GB on a Mobile Share plan.
I then received a 2nd order notification with different order numbers from standard At&t with the same ship dates.
I called AT&T customer service, to ask about the data change. He said I would have to call AT&T online sales to get it changed before it took effect. I have been trying to call since Friday and still have not been able to get through.
I then asked the guy, Michael, do I have a better chance of getting a phone on launch day. He said yes. He told me that they send in all the pre-orders to Apple on the 19th and then they ship out. So, the 9/17 to 9/18 ship dates that everyone is talking about, I don't know if that is accurate. I really hope Michael was pulling my leg.
I checked my orders again today and they jumped to 10/13 and 10/22 at the latter of shipping days. So maybe with everyone cancelling their pre-orders, maybe it is increasing my chances.
I just hope I get it eventually.

Here is what I think will happen based on what I read, people with a ship date of for the iPhone 6+ through business Preimier:
10/02 - 10/13 - The extremely limited amount of people who were lucky enough to order within the 15 minutes earlier (11:45pm PST) than pre-ordering was suppose to start. Will undoubtedly get it day one.
10/13 - 10/22 - all ordered a few minutes before or right around midnight and will get it day one
10/31 - 11/11 - about half will get it day one (closer to midnight orders) and half will not and will get the second round (I ordered at 3:12 am and I am in this boat)
11/9-11/27 - will definitely not get it day one but will get the second batch.
It seems it means nothing that your credit card was charged because everybody's charged already so it doesn't necessarily mean you will get day one. It also means nothing that you received a text message as this only tells you the order was received and will ship when the iPhone comes into stock. I have a feeling the ship dates will be revised in the coming days as AT&T receives more iPhones into stock everyday. I wish they didn't start taking orders before midnight because I had no idea and was only prepared to order at midnight so even though I ordered only 12 minutes (maybe earlier if they really reserve your spot in line when you start the checkout process) and I am in the middle range. Please let me know if you guys agree but I think this post is pretty accurate as to what will happen. -Rob
That post seems to be the most accurate on the situation. I wouldn't worry and I think you'll be fine for getting one Friday.

I am guessing it has something to do with the fraud alert i received on Friday from my credit card. I have 8 $1.00 holds on my card and the two $317 charges for the phones themselves, all processed on Friday. However I just got a text telling me my order was processed.
I now have the 2nd phone estimated at shipping 9/23 to 10/02 and the 1st I ordered shipping 10/14 to 11/03. Ugh.

i agree...i am a 10 - 2 person, im hoping by wednesday we see accurate shipping
I find it a little difficult to believe that there won't be enough phones available day one for everyone who stayed up or woke up in the wee hours of the morning to order. I assume the vast majority of the 4 million pre-orders were made during normal waking hours and I would guess that even many of those orders will be fulfilled on day 1.
I was fortunate enough to order at 11:55PM on the 11th.
Ordered a iPhone 6+ 64 GB Gold. Received a date of 10/2-10/13.
Yesterday it showed up as backordered and in the evening it changed back to the dates.
I ordered 5 minutes before midnight and still didn't get a 19th date. Just my luck haha.

I have seen maybe 1-2 people with a 9/19 status on their orders with the iPhone 6Plus
FWIW I placed my order 2:55am EST for a SG iPhone 6+ 64gb and it currently shows 10/13-10/22 delivery date.
I think it would better help us understand what the shipping estimates are. This thread has been helpful but also filled with a lot of other info now.

I am in the same boat. Same ship dates. I will keep my fingers crossed but I Will live if it does not show up until 10/22.
IT is all on me. I should have ordered through Apple and not AT&T like my partner did. He will be playing with his new 6+ on 9/19 and I Will be trying not to be jealous.

You definitely can but I don't think it will help. The best corse of action is to just let it play out. Wednesday will probably be the real ship date day maybe thursday but either way its not going to change anything so why bother.
The 6+ seems to be the ones with the out there ship dates and it seems to be across the board. I would be more concerned if a lot of people popped up with 6+ with friday ship dates but that isn't happening so just wait and see.
