AT&T Pre-order status

After wasting hours on these forums trying to get some information, I've come to the conclusion that it'll get here when it gets here.
There's nothing I can say or do that'll make my phone arrive faster. Upset? yeah of course, but I'll have my new phone soon enough
& just for the heck of it:
Ordered 2 iPhone 6+ Gold 64GB 1 for myself and 1 for my girlfriend.
I ordered mine and got the confirmation email at 1149 PST
Ordered hers shortly after and her confirmation email at 1156 PST
Both status's say "preparing to ship"
As of now mine is scheduled for 10/13 - 10/22 and hers is 10/2 - 10/13.
How that is possible, I am not sure. But no use stressing over it anymore.

In case of other people having similar issues: I ordered a 6 within 30 minutes of midnight PST last Friday. Received an email this morning that my order required attention due to a "past due balance" (which after speaking with a customer service rep was clearly not the case). After waiting on hold for one hour and 50 minutes this morning, they "fixed" the issue by "reprocessing" the order. That reprocessing was essentially just placing an order today. So I will not likely see a phone for several weeks. For those of you with similar issues, you may want to jump on this (i.e., speak with a customer service rep) sooner rather than later. Good luck!
Extremely unlikely. In the event it arrives locally prior to launch day UPS and FedEx will hold the shipment until launch day.
6+ chat with AT&T rep
I ordered a gold 6+ 64 possibly a few minutes early, I know I started ordering it before the official time, but not sure when I finished. Had a verification email at 1:06 am MST. I have difference order dates on the two order checking pages, the 12th and the 13th, but I have the 11/09/14 - 11/27/14 shipping date. So I asked the AT&T chat rep about the date. I was transferred once and this is the result of the chat that just ended up making me laugh:
ATT: Based upon by gathered resources, you order is already shipped and you will receive it on 11/09/2014 to 11/27/2014
Me: It already shipped but won't be here for 40+ days?
Me: Do you have a tracking number?
ATT: Yes because it is said by Apple.
ATT: All iphone 6+ orders will be received by the month of November.
Me: I'm still confused.

Sorry, I chuckled at that. All seriousness though, you'll probably receive it earlier then November.
ATT Pre-order status
Apparently Apple has sold some 4 million iphone 6 and 6+ since pre orders began. That's 150,000 phones per hour in the first day. These figures don't include China/Hong Kong which won't get the phone till later this week. It's the largest launch to date!

Don't get so upset over these dates as most of these are placeholders, and most of these should get delivered on Friday. This happens every year, and it will happen again next year, and the next, etc.
As an example, I was not able to order at midnight like everyone else so I called the Premier toll free number around 6:00 PST to place my order. That is six hours after most people ordered theirs, and I still got the 10/13-10/22 shipping timeframe.
BTW, my status has not changed since Friday morning on my white iPhone + 128GB.

Ordered within 1 minute of the store coming up (12:15a PST), the system could not reach my carrier so it gave me a "Your iPhone is reserved, conf #xxxxx you will receive another email when your order can be completed".
I got the 2nd email at 8:47a the next day and completed it immediately. I was then given a confirmation and delivery window Oct13 to Oct20.
Today, days later, I check the store and get almost the same delivery date for a new order, hmmm. So much for "reserving" one's place in line...
I decided to call Apple, not angry, just to let them know that this year's process doesn't seem right. The agent took a good chunk of time to attempt to track down what happened. In the end they can't do anything to get me my Plus any sooner.
BUT, they felt my pain and decided to give me a $150 refund AND are waiving the charge for the case I had also ordered. So while I will lose some of my old phone trade-in dollars due to the delay of my new phone's arrival, I was happy that Apple recognizes their good customers and tries to satisfy, hat's off.
I had carved time for my guilty pleasure of watching the annual keynote "Nerd Stock", only to have the stream barf all over itself immediately and never really recover. So all in all, this year's intro was a bit rough, but it's great stuff and obviously more popular than ever.
Maybe some day we will simply will be able to reserve for pickup at our Apple store, (I vowed to NEVER stand in an Apple line again after waiting all day for "out of stock" surprise), one can dream.

My brother and I ordered (different phones) just before midnight via AT&T's website. His said early October, mine said mid-late October. This past Sunday it was changed to shipping on 9/17-9/18. Expected delivery is still probably Friday. So from someone with no patience, have patience! I even went about going to Target to set up a pre-order.

I don't know if Im just happy there isn't as much "If I don't get my phone launch day I will DIE" or if I'm loosing it in general but thats twice today Ive actually laughed out loud over a post.
People seem to be a little more relaxed today, maybe common sense kicked in and they realize that the ship dates aren't correct.... probably not though.
I hope so. But from what I saw in this post, my email is kinda different.

they have NO IDEA...i wouldn't waste time contacting support...they don't know whats in stock or what they have to ship anyone or what they can see on their little computer screen

I'll add to the updates. Really wanted to pre-order through Apple, but after an hour 1/2 wasn't getting anywhere and was ready to conk out at 1:30a. I did finally manage to get through at AT&T and ordered a 6+ 128GB Silver (this will be my first white iPhone) and the Expected Shipment Date was 10/13-10/22.
After reading this thread yesterday, I rechecked my order status at ATT and my shipment dates bumped to 10/2-10/13.
Still bummed that I won't be able to have it on 9/19, but hoping it gets bumped forward another notch soon.

Yeah, it says thank you for using Premier so I'm pretty sure it is done via Premier. And the mail is pretty much a screen grab of the page after I clicked the Pre-Order button or whatever.
Ouch! You can probably walk in to an Apple store and buy one way before then.
Not if he's a Premier business customer. At least on my account I am not able to, and it's the whole reason I did not order online from Apple.
