I called the 866 number, but as soon as I entered the order number, I heard some 'chime' and then nothing - dead air.

My order for the 6+ 64gb Space Gray still shows as estimated ship date of 11/9 - 11/27 at both myATT and the Premier sites. If it doesn't change by Wed or Thurs, guess I'll be getting my phone in November.

I preordered through AT&T using the NEXT program an iPhone 6 64GB Space Gray at about 9:50am CST on Friday, September 12th. I got a confirmation e-mail from AT&T at 10:04am, and the 2 subsequent "Order Processed" text messages from AT&T later that evening. After I got those texts, I checked the order status using the link in the e-mail and it gave me an estimated shipping date of 10/13-10/31. This was ordered through the Premier Store due to the FAN number that we have through work.

I checked my credit card statement online, and I currently still have two pending charges from AT&T that appeared on Friday the 12th; one for $1 and another for $67.50, which I can only assume is the sales tax based on the unsubsidized price of the phone (9% sales tax where I live). But what's weird about those charges is that in the confirmation email that I received from AT&T, it says that I would be charged for taxes when the order shipped for a total of $79.85. So I'm not really sure where that number came from.

As of about 5 minutes ago, my shipping status has not changed. The only change was that on Sunday the estimated dates disappeared and the order appeared as "Backordered", just like many people here saw on their own orders. But at some point last night the shipping dates reappeared and they are the same 10/13-10/31. Depending on where I check and what number I call, I get different information. If I check going through my online account, there is no record of my preorder. The 877 and the 866 numbers also turn up no record of my preorder when I use the automated system. But when I use the link in the e-mail I get the shipping estimate of 10/13-10/31.

Due to the fact that the two 8** numbers couldn't find my order, I got nervous about whether my order was actually placed, so I finally decided to chat online with a representative at AT&T today. I asked what the shipping estimate of my phone was. I gave her the order number and my cell number, and she said just that the order was in progress. So then I asked her if that meant that the shipping information was not available yet. She then went and "checked" again, and then came back and asked me the model, size, and color of the phone I ordered, which I thought was weird because you would think that the agent would be able to see that through the order number. But anyway, I cheerfully obliged, and she came back with a shipping estimate of "around September 19th." This in spite of what the website still says 10/13-10/31.

So basically, I don't think anyone knows what's going on. I was not expecting to receive my phone on the 19th since I did order it 8 hours after preorders went live. I did, however, not expect to have to wait over a month to receive it. So I'm hoping the agent was correct! Either way, I think I've done all I can do to try to check on the status, and now I'm just going to sit back and see what happens!
 
Anyone know if you can cancel online orders in store? I looked on the website and it says you can't cancel any online orders once they are placed...
 
Tried the 866 number and no luck. Just a noise followed by silence.

Shipping updated last night from Nov. to Oct 13-22. Nothing pending on UPSMyChoice either.

Premier (FAN) order, order email stated 14-21 days, 128GB + Grey, Unlimited Data.

MyATT and ATT Premier have the same order ID. Is it the same for you?
Both MyATT and ATT Premier order statuses show my mom's name on both billing and shipping address instead of my name...

I don't know what to do.

I'm using student discount for AT&T.. Does it mean I'm a Premier member?
I can't register on Premier website. So confused!

I have different order ID's on myATT and Premier. The Premier shows my name from my work/school discount and the myATT has my dad's name on billing/shipping. Both my parents fall under the FAN from Dad's work union, but they did not order.

However, there is nothing on the shipping besides a name on myATT, but the Premier has my full, correct street address info.

I found that the AT&T reps were quite kind once I was able to reach them by phone.

The store, on the other hand, was completely useless. Absolutely terrible.

"Call the number" they said.

The number was inactive for some time.

I just did this, thanks to your post. Took 5 minutes to sign up and verify myself, I went out to the Calendar utility and sure enough I see my phone delivery for Friday. I pre-ordered mine at 6am ET on 9/12 and it's kept it's 9/19 delivery date. Now that I see this tracking info and the package location with "Next Day Air" I'm confident I'll get it :cool:

I also see my Amazon delivery this week, which is actually the Spigen Neo Hybrid case I bought this morning. So this tool is very fast, I suggest anyone who is interested in seeing their UPS tracking info and where your phone is at right now...if applicable...to sign up for MyChoice on UPS.

Here's some screenshots I just took to show what I saw after signing up. It automatically detects any UPS shipments incoming to you, based on your address you sign up and verify with. Didn't cost me anything to do this either.

So does calling the 866 number and getting a reply saying my order has been shipped mean I'm getting it on launch day? Im a premier customer.

Sadly, I have no idea. I'm also Premier and my calls are met by what sounds like a Satanic Fart followed by dead silence. I highly doubt I'll be a 9/19.

Shipping check

Go to ups.com click on track then track by reference number. Use the cell phone number as the reference number. Enter the United States and you zip code for the destination. If a label has been generated it will come up. Put the tracking number in ups my choice and you can see delivery date. Worked for my friend.

So that is what that sound was...lol. Even after all of that, I selected * as someone suggested - it did nothing for a few seconds, then sent me in a 'queue' for a live person. After 5 min, I hung up (I'm a Premier customer as well).

I preordered through AT&T an iPhone 6+ 128GB Gold at about 3:40am on Friday, September 12th. I got a confirmation e-mail from AT&T at 3:45am, and shipping said 14 to 21 days.Saturday came it changed to 11/9 to 11/27 :eek:I checked the order status this evening and it went back to 10/2 to 10/13 preparing to ship:rolleyes:
 
The 866 number keeps trying to kick me to a person. This is my 3rd preorder and it's been a nightmare (as much as you can call trying to order an item for fun a nightmare). I have chatted and talked to ATT a few times and I am still not even sure they accepted my order...i was told there were 'website problems' that affected my preorder that I put in within the first 25 minutes of ordering. For the 4 and 5 this process was a breeze for me and this time I am 100% clueless on whether or not I am getting a phone at all. I have a FAN discount so this is through Premier.

I only care really because I set it to ship to my work and I am going on vacation right after launch...need to know if I need to tell a coworker to snag the mail clerk and hide my phone in their office until I get back if it comes next week! My order status just says preorder processing, no expected ship dates. I only have the $1 preauth. The ATT guy last night said they would get me a phone by Friday because my original order stated that date (the 'lost order') and I've gone through a lot of annoyance, but I have nothing in writing, no tracking, no order update or anything stating it. And he said someone would call me today...nope.

I guess I will hang out and see if anything changes tomorrow, if not call ATT and see if they can tell me anything so I know what to do about the shipment.

I have one tracking number through myUPS (still showing preparing to ship on the AT&T website) that is going to be shipped under my name but it weighs 1.20 lbs.

Anyone thinking that they could be shipping both in the same box since they are going to the same household? I know Amazon figures that kind of stuff out but I don't have as high of hopes for AT&T.

My single is .6 lbs so that shipment is for two phones
