well, maybe you didn't intend to be, but from the outset with the "didn't you get my question?" and then ignoring her initial question and simply restating your original question doesn't exactly come across as friendly.
What if she didn't get your question? It happens - but it's not their fault. IDK, maybe I am seeing something that's not there, but to me it was a standoffish at the outset.
I asked because she said how can I help you with out already referencing my question I submitted. I simply didn't see she asked the next question as I had already hit sent right when she replied.
In any event I am happy for you that you will get your phone on Friday. That's what it is all about.

OK.
Sorry for the false accusation, but I see a lot of people abusing those on the other side of the monitor. Maybe I am just jaded.
No hating. It's just it's the exact same scenario every single year. People have very short memories of how preorders actually work… Especially through the carrier stores who never get their shipment from Apple until a few days before launch day. Everybody's shipment dates update magically to receive launch day (or the week after) on the Wednesday or Thursday prior to launch day. It's been this way for all iPhone releases (except 3GS for which there was no pre-order) if memory serves.
But it sure makes for a lot of drama on the threads each year at this time… ;-)
it is absolutely amazing to me that this thread has reached 88 pages on something none of us have any control over. We've placed our orders and now we wait that's the plain and simple of it... Yet, myself included we keep coming back trying to out guess and over analyze the process. There's only 2 outcomes, we get our shiny new toy on friday or we don't....
We know that the package will be ~1.2 lbs when it ships... We know the 6's are looking like they will definitely make it out, and it sure looks like they under estimated the 6 pluses and a few lucky will get them and most will have to wait.
Oh well, off to hit the refresh button on att.com, ups.com and macrumors.com to try to quell my anxiety![]()

I don't understand how this system works..
I ordered my 64gb space grey iphone 6 at 2:51am (est)
Been on preparing for shipment for a few days now, estimated ship date is 17-18 of September
Still nothing on ups or fedex
Mine did and then my card was just charged again an hour ago. Look for the second charge, that means you're in business. Prior experience with AT&T and pre orders makes me not believe anything their website says haha
It's preparing for shipment because it probably is. They aren't just going to ship it over the weekend when it's not supposed to be delivered until Friday. Too big a chance of it getting out early. More than likely it'll ship when it says. It probably does have it's tracking and all but won't be uploaded to ups/fedex until they actually pick it up. I'd imagine most will start appearing tomorrow.
What is your date for shipping? Mine is 10/13-10/22
