I have a shipping weight of 1.20 lbs too. Ordered 16 and 64 GB (no plus) but others have stated that each order is shipped separately if that makes sense.

I have a shipping weight of 1.20 lbs too. Ordered 16 and 64 GB (no plus) but others have stated that each order is shipped separately if that makes sense.
Speaking to AT&T now.. asking as much questions as I can for all of us. Will update when I get as much info about shipping times as I can.
Edit - Well... like most of you figured out when you called; its a waste of time. They don't say anything really. I called them out on how if I break my contract I get hit with fees out the ass but when they do, nothing happens. She said sorry.. and that was it. They had no info on shipping but did say we can always go to the store, cancel our online order in person, and pick one up there.
So - for those of you like me who have way pushed back delivery dates... if it doesn't ship thursday night you aren't getting on on launch day. I recommend getting up early and heading to an Apple/ATT store.
I'm going to the AT&T store solely for the fact that no online orders can be done with in store pickup so the only people getting them in person are those who wait in line.

My charges are still in the pending column, but still have a 9/17-9/18 shipping on my order. I am still convinced it's based upon geography and proximity to a staging/shipping area.
And the thing is, carriers don't really make anything for selling you an iPhone. Assuming you weren't switching carriers, there isn't much money in it for them. Their hope is that you add additional lines/service or buy some overpriced accessories. But all for all the resources they throw at it, it's money/profit they are collecting for Apple.

Also by looking on craigslist and ebay not one person that is selling a 6 PLUS has gotten an early ship date from AT&T, so it's safe to say they have no idea what's going on and/or the shipment is getting there any day.

I understand the idea of giving people late shipment dates then shipping early but I also think this causes a lot of more work on their end if they do this. People want an iPhone on 09/19 and if they ordered early they expect that. If they receive an October or November ship day some will just cancel and wait in line at the store or they canceled and ordered on Apple. Many users have posted in here saying that they did just that.

New poster, here. Have been following this thread as my ship date kept moving around. I'm amazed at how excited everyone is for their new phone! Admittedly, I'm excited too, but it's out of my hands, isn't it. I ordered 5 minutes before "official" release time - 6+ Space Grey, 16GB. Ship date is 10/2-10/13 (LAME!). I am unable to check UPS My Choice because UPS has categorized my condo building as a commercial location, so basically I'm SOL.
ATT trying desperately to delete my unlimited data plan. I had to call and set them straight.
Have you tried the "other" UPS tracking trick?
- Go to UPS.com, go click on TRACKING at the top.
- On the left click on Track by Reference
- Shipment Reference: use your phone number here
- Destination Country: choose United States
- Destination Zip Code: enter your zip
See if you see anything there. Doesn't work for me but others said it worked a few days ago for them.
I had three charges of $1 each and charges for the plus and regular iphone that fell off this morning. No more pending and no actual charge. I did have a text Friday morning from my bank to authenticate the lesser $213 charge which I immediately confirmed.
I have ups my choice, but I'm having the phones delivered to work so can't see a shipping label. I also tried entering the phone numbers as the reference but no success.
I know the regular iphone will be delivered on 9/19. It still says the expected shipping date of 9/17-18. I'm worried about my plus. I got the plus ordered a little before midnight and originally had a shipping date of 10/13-22. It changed on Saturday morning to 10/2-13.
I'm just hoping I get both phones this Friday.
Like others have said, in the past when I ordered the 5, I had to go through AT&T because the apple site is always down for me on launch night. But with my iphone 5, I got it on launch day, with an estimated launch day delivery date.
It's just a phone. <sigh>
i have received a ship date of OCT 13 to OCT 22, i was on the sat at 12 and still got that date. i really wouldn't worry about that date pretty sure the date is just a unicorn date and has no bearing. What i'm guessing is they had no stock of the 6 plus while the 6 they had tons of already.
I agree about the 6+ as others have posted UPS tracking for their 6+ showing shipping from China. Sounds like the 6+ are all shipping from China or at least the majority while the 6 are already here in the US ready to ship.
Has anyone else gotten a 10-13 to 10-31 ship date? Everyone seems to have 10-13 to 10-21. I have an iPhone 6 64 GB space grey and ordered with premier

However, given that I'm not a virgin, I wouldn't have expected to have much luck with a unicorn.
Same here… same phone, same date. Premier, too. Didn't order until 6:10AM PDT.

Got an email from AT&T an hour later saying that my order was expected to arrive on 9/19, but I can check the order status using a link. Got a text from AT&T that evening that my order had been processed and I'd be notified when it has shipped. When I click on the link AT&T sent, my estimated shipping date is 9/23 - 10/3. Just logged into UPS MyChoice though and my order departed Memphis last night scheduled for a 9/19 delivery. Ta-daa!

Iphone Plus 128GB Silver. My date is still showing 10/13-10/22.

I ordered at 9:00 am. I figured I was good because on apples site was still showing ship by the 19th. I'm starting to loose faith.
ordered a 6+ 64G Silver.....right now i have a ship date of Oct 2 -13th.....i ordered at 12:04am CT on AT&T....im still hopeful that i get on release day....hoping for another major bump in the AT&T website's shipping system
I ordered 6+ 128GB Silver and am completely confused by the status. Order was entered 3:05AM EDT on 9/12. Originally had shipping date 11/11-11/29, then changed later Friday to say 10/13-10/22. Now it says Preparing to Ship but still with expected dates of 10/13-10/22. I will be pleasantly surprised if it ships out this week. I had both the Apple and ATT sites up at the same time and basically ordered from whichever site responded first.
I have 1 iPhone 64 space gray. Another 64 black. And another 16 gray. All say will ship wed/thurs. Places orders between 205-210 central time though att premier.
