Possibly. I have one package on UPS my choice (1.2 lbs) but nothing else yet. How strange would it be if one come FedEx and one UPS?

I ordered a 4.7" iPhone Silver 64GB around 8:30am EST Friday. My AT&T order status page has changed a few times but currently says status is "Pending" and Ship Date is "9/23 - 10/2" (that's the latest date I've been given and it's been like that since Sunday).
HOWEVER, UPS MyChoice* Tuesday morning now shows that my phone arrived to them last night and has begun to head towards me with estimated arrival Friday afternoon.
*I was previously a MyChoice member and the site just found my order automatically by my address when I logged in.

I ordered about 3:30 AM EST on launch day through AT&T. Apple site was down and I had to get some sleep. Original 10-14 delay estimate turned into 10/13-10/22. Now moved forward to 10/2-10/13. I ordered a 6+ 64 grey. I don't think it'll get here much before that and apple is the one that limits carrier inventory while stocking their own stores and shipments. They want you to prefer them. I do think AT&T prefers to send worst case scenario estimates to manage expectations. If I had to guess, I'd say I'll get it very late September.

I will say I had literally this same experience with the Iphone5 two years ago with the changing and late shipping dates and fluctuating status's and not being able to see my tracking number. Actually feeling fairly confident it will come on time. People blasting AT&T and Apple, but I am sure few companies have the infrastructure to deal with such a launch. This is my third presale order of the Iphone through AT&T and I've always received on launch day.

Do you remember when you received tracking? This is also my 3rd time through ATT lol, and it's always been fedex with me, just don't remember when I got the tracking. I also received on launch each time.
Same here. With the 4s I never even got a tracking number and the website said "back ordered" the entire time, meanwhile my phones arrived on launch day.
Huh, I didn't get the txt saying my order has being sent to warehouse for shipping. I only got a txt from them saying "my order has been processed. And that I'll be notified when your order has shipped." I guess your ahead of me?

Now - there are literally NOT enough 6 plusses for the demand (as there were not enough gold 5S's last year). So it's doubtful everyone who ordered 6 + will get theirs on launch day except those that ordered between 11:45pm and 12:15am PDT on preorder night. But most of us who ordered 6's will see our delivery dates change to launch day in the next 24-72 hours.. Same thing every year. Drama, drama, drama.. MY PHONE WILL NOW BE HERE FRIDAY!!!!!

Today the shipping date changed to 10/2-10/3. So it appears AT&T is finally figuring out their supply situation.
I think AT&T's system was so screwed up at the time, that it didn't even recognize my order until hours later. My order with Apple was instant, but the AT&T order was delayed so it actually registered after Apple's did causing them to cancel my AT&T order. They said I was no longer eligible for an upgrade an entire day later and that's why they had to cancel that order. I called to confirm it was canceled because it was all very confusing. At least now I know the best way, just stick with Apple until you get through, you'll still have a better delivery date.
If it makes anyone feel better, here is a post I have from two years ago basically showing the same situation. Arrived on launch day.
Things aren't looking too hot for me. My $213.99 charge dropped off last night. (Phone + tax) nothing in MyChoice or FedEx and I'm in the 9/17-9/18 group. Frustrating because the emails from ATT said the 19th for delivery
yes This is the first wave, of several to come, of delivery dates moving forward in time as AT&T allocates phones they're getting from Apple to actual orders processed.
It really is amazing. I keep checking order status but I don't expect it to change till even friday at this point. I have high hopes ill get tracking today-thurdsay but if I don't I still won't actually be worried it'll friday night. I don't think people understand how tight they have been with REAL leaks. That said if I start seeing Real phone leaks ill know people are starting to steal from UPS and Ill start getting pissed not excited hah

When the delivery dates change, do they list the shipping tracking number?
I ordered the same exact phone about 30 minutes after you did, and have the same pending ship date. I'm going to bank on your MyChoice and that I'll get mine Friday afternoon too....although I am THIS CLOSE to canceling my preorder and standing in line...
Yes.. That's exactly how it goes each year. People's shipping dates changing now is a very hopeful sign for many.

New poster, here. Have been following this thread as my ship date kept moving around. I'm amazed at how excited everyone is for their new phone! Admittedly, I'm excited too, but it's out of my hands, isn't it. I ordered 5 minutes before "official" release time - 6+ Space Grey, 16GB. Ship date is 10/2-10/13 (LAME!). I am unable to check UPS My Choice because UPS has categorized my condo building as a commercial location, so basically I'm SOL.
ATT trying desperately to delete my unlimited data plan. I had to call and set them straight.

just to give everyone a heads up that is trying to figure out this whole credit card hold thing, it means nothing. My wife's iPhone 6 shipped yesterday and both charges have dropped for her phone 6 64g gold and my 6 plus 64gb sg.

weird u guys charges are falling off. the day i placed my order on the 12th at 2:50am est i had to two charges, 1 dollar charge and 57 dollar charge for att next. the dollar charge fell off today but the 57 dollar charge is still there and isnt pending
