how do you guys see the iPhone 4S i don't even see when i want to add it and my line is eligible for it
I got this too from Apple. I'm assuming they will check upgrade eligibility later when the AT&T employees finally make it to work in a few hours to fix what the eff ever happened.
I get my email pushed to my phone via exchange so hopefully I'll hear something by 9a.m. otherwise I'll just order again. I'll order ten of those mofos if I have to, I refuse to wait in line at the apple store again.
Data plan not compatible with device?
I got my reservation through Apple, but I don't trust it so I finally got through to AT&T only to be given a prompt that my "Data plan is not compatible with this device."
I have the old unlimited data plan that was grandfathered in. I don't understand this.

Lmfao... I must be slap-happy from lack of sleep, because that just made me crack up... 😀
I just hope our "reservation" actually means we're already in a queue and get one on the 14th like it said, and it's not a function of who sees their e-mail and enters payment info fastest when that time comes.
I could go through AT&T, but with no AppleCare+ option visible I don't want to risk it, since that's supposed to be on the same ticket.
This is on the email that Apple sent me a few minutes ago confirming my reservation.

That happened to me too so I just ordered through AT&T. I don't want to sit around and wait for apple to email me to pay for my order. I was worried it would end up being in a delayed batch or something. I thought I remembered that happening to some people with the 3GS but I could be wrong.
Same thing here. Got a reservation from Apple, but no email and you can't get back into the system to check the status.
ATT Premier came back up, so I just upgraded with them. Easy Peasy.
It did cough up "we need to change your data plan for your new device", but the invoice says the same old "Data Plan for iPhone $30.00" that I've always had.

I just successfully added a line to our premier account and got the 16gb white. Took a couple tries and about 3 Gateway timeouts before it went through.
I got the same message and went ahead and ordered, and only because I tested what would happen if I clicked the change link in the data field and selected one of those plans - when I did that, then I got another warning that let me know that I was removing unlimited data from my plan. I did not get that alert when they told me they were selecting a compatible plan for me (coming from blackberry) So I felt confident that I was okay.
How in the world you seeing on your list to pick the iPhone 4S???? when i go through i don't see it i am eligible for an upgrade
Did you port a number? I can't find this option. I need to port 3 lines from VZW to AT&T.

It was not possible 2 years ago. You need to get your shipment first, then you call them back and port the numbers over the phone. 😎
Did AT&T Premier deny anyone's credit card?
I placed 2 different orders for my phone and my wife's phone with the same card, got confirmation emails for both, and then 1 email stating that my card could not be processed on just one of the orders
disclosure: my card is nowhere near its limit and never gets there (just checked it)

Once I logged in through the main page and checked my eligibility for an upgrade, it showed it to me as the first option to choose.
looks like i won't be getting this phone awhile now i'm switching over to personal skip premier
I instead upgraded 2 lines on AT&T and then added 3 lines from the Apple site. I think I might have entered my wrong password for the Verizon Account I'm porting from. I hope that doesn't effect anything...
