I dropped my trade in phone to an art store 3 weeks ago, and there is still no change on my account, the due amount of my iPhone 12 pro is still the full amount. Does anyone have the same issue? How long will I see my trade in credit on att account website?
Shouldve gotten a vague text that credits are locked inThanks. How do I know the trade in is successful? I dropped my phone in the store and they gave me a one-pager for my trade in value. But so far I did not get any email confirmation from att, is it normal?
I called with questions on my plan and while I had them on the line, I took the liberty to ask them to waive the fee. Upon seeing that I’ve been a long-time customer, she did so without flinching.I've seen a couple of posts where people got the upgrade fee waived...how did you get it? Just call and ask?

You didn’t have to trade in by Nov 5. You just need to have purchased by Nov 5.
And then you have 30-days after activation to trade-in.
The trade-in terms that were in affect on your purchase date still apply.
I traded in on Nov 9 and did it in store and I got the full $800 even though all the posters in the store had already been changed to the new $700 offer.
Just wondering, if you trade-in in store do you still initiate the trade-in process online and then just bring the phone in?
Why scared, my package arrived just fine. Also don't use their craptastic packaging. Just print the label out yourself and ship on your own, it's just a padded envelope they send you, protects nothing. You guys are scaring me with my mail in trade-in on my X. I did request their packaging tho
so far so good for me. AT&T are just checking to make sure my line is eligible for the promotion which I should be. They received my phone and once my account is found eligible I should get my credits. You guys are scaring me with my mail in trade-in on my X. I did request their packaging tho
AT this point you're 99.9% thereSo, I officially got my email from AT&T and now they have to verify my account qualifies which it should,

Won’t be necessary. I had the same question. But on the main startup screen there’s an “i” on the bottom right and when you click that it has all the information they need, minus the storage capacity of the phone, but they can pull that up with the serial number.I'm planning to go to the local corporate store this evening to perform the trade in. I'm wondering if I need to re-setup the phone so they can access the IMEI info as I've already reset the phone to factory? I do still have the original box with the IMEI.
Is that something they need to do for people that traded in a corporate store too?
Verify stuff and be notified of it with an email?
Or should just take effect eventually?
Just a data point for everyone... traded in at store on 11/4, did not get any of those vague texts, but credit shows on my bill dated 11/12.Just a reference point for anyone around North Dallas needing to trade in... The store in 75252 doesn't know how to process the trade in but the store in 75093 does.

Well I called in today with a couple of questions about my plan and asked if they could waive it...I was flatly denied. And I've been a customer since before they were AT&T! Congrats on those that got a GOOD rep! LOLI called with questions on my plan and while I had them on the line, I took the liberty to ask them to waive the fee.
