iPhone 13 AT&T (USA) att.com iPhone 13/Mini/Pro/Pro Max Pre-Order (2021)

Anyone having 2nd thoughts about this AT&T upgrade? Three years is a long time to not get an upgrade and to be honest, what are the benefits of the "13" over my 11 Pro Max? I don't do "pro" video (or any video, really). The camera on the 11 Pro Max does what I need. Yes, 120Hz would be nice, but is that worth being stuck with what should be an "S" model for 3 more years and missing out on some possibly innovative features in newer models? And 5G...I have a TMobile backup phone that does 5G and rarely do I get faster speeds than LTE.

$11/mo is not a big deal to get the latest, best model, but the more I think about it, what bugs me is being stuck with the "13" for 3 years. Do I want a new iPhone? Of course! But those three years...

Ugh...

Just a caveat though, I preordered 4 for the family.

The last one that I ordered was a graphite 128 Pro, yet AT&T split that to its own separate batch, and it’s the one that says will ship soon. The other 3 just say preordered on AT&T. I assume eventually it will say “We're just about ready to ship your order.” for the other 3 phones (All starlight, 128, 2 Pro Maxes and 1 Pro)

I kept my iPhone 11 for 2 years. The battery is weak now. Sure I could replace it, but I don’t want to pass up the dramatic camera improvements (50% more light (vs 12?) on ultra wide and 2.2x for wide), and 5G, etc

it may not be financially prudent but I can afford it and only have one chance to take vacation pictures or whatever.

The change from the crappy intel modem that’s inside your 11pro max is more than enough to upgrade to the 13pro max with Qualcomm modem. Also the increased battery life . Take advantage of the new 5G network that ATT is offering oh yes spend the money .

Yes, just 1 tracking though. I’m hoping it’s 1 package with all 4 iPhones, and not just the Graphite that says ready to ship.

For anyone that has ordered multiple before, so they come in separate or consolidated boxes?

You’ll get 4 separate boxes. I always get two boxes for mine and my wife’s. They currently sit in huge pallets of specific color/size pre packaged waiting to be provisioned to accounts and have the shipping label applied. Your one that already has tracking was one of the first to be processed. The other three will get tracking #’s through the week.

Mine's on there. Yours should show up soon. I had a problem in the past for packages being sent to my wife and them not showing in my account. Maybe double check the names?

I pondered the three years a bit, ultimately i went for it because I kept my 6+ four years, and the 30 months on my XS Max felt quick enough. I just finished the payoff on it, and I was not planning on leaving att anyway. I am pretty much the target audience for the promo i guess.

Nope, been on my 512GB XS Max since launch day 2018, so when they announced the 1TB Pro Max, with Pro-Motion, I was sold, can't wait for it to arrive. Only thing is I have 570GB of TV shows to sync, which isn't the issue, I have over 40GB of music to download from Apple Music, gonna take a while lol.
 
I got an alert from FedEx for an incoming package. Coming from Somerset, NJ and it's only a pound. Wondering if it's my device as I don't have anything else coming from FedEx.

Did you trade in anything? If so, that might be it, what was the origin? Usually it comes from Fort Worth Texas I believe.
 
To anyone who ordered from ATT.com, and ordered a 1TB Pro Max, specifically in Silver, have you gotten shipping from FedEx? Idk if anyone or how many will get the 1TB on launch day, I have 27th-4th delivery dates, was in early too, all 4 colors Pro Max with 1TB had those dates. Just curious.

Nope no trades. I’ve seen them use different distribution companies in the past. Just not that’s the case here and won’t be until whatever it is arrives.

How did you get a tracking number? Was it from ATT by email?
 
So if I order a 13 Pro and I have a 11 Pro to trade in that I still owe approx $200 on through AT&T do I just have to pay it off before the return box arrives to get the $1000 bill credits or do I have to pay it off at time of pre-order to get the $1000 bill credits? Thanks.

Which did you order? Hoping mine gets moved to Friday, or thanks to me being in California on Friday for the 49ers home opener, not back till the 28th, hope it comes by the 27th at worst.
