Then sell it, two posts down someone offered to buy it. Try resetting your phone and then try the gps again and I bet your results are different if your truely being honest. And if your unhappy, there are people waiting to buy them. They are redoing their packaging, that's why you got what you got instead of the package. It's just a package.
Me too, and everyone else. He is the only one I have seen have a gps issue. Mine locks on instantly with gps and google maps.
I would love to have a copper and a chrome one. I hope they decide to make them. The more people who show interest, the more it might help out. I think they would sell but I don't know if they think they would. That chrome and black would be sweet.
Damn, the more I see that gunmetal the more I wished I would have ordered it. Looks damn good. I wish they would hurry and sell caps alone.

dang im so tempted in ordering one. black/gunmetal is tight. im kinda leaning towards the black/blue. might order next week.

I agree with the others this is very odd. I am in a terrible reception area and I have no problems with GPS or anything else. I also do a lot of movie streaming with netflix and have not had one glitch during a streaming. Used my GPS tonite loaded right up found my directions and as usual was spot on. So I am not sure how these problems are affecting one. Odd.
I don't know why you think I would be lying about the GPS. Just because it works for you and a handful of other people doesn't mean it'll work for everyone. I'm resetting the phone so we'll see what happens.
And with regard to the packaging, it's all about impressions. Maybe it's not a big deal to you and truthfully it doesn't matter much to me either. But if you're running a business and trying to get people to buy from you again, I would think you'd attempt to put your best foot forward at all times. Pulling loose parts and a plastic bag out of a bubble envelope isn't impressing me, but then again that's just my opinion.
I don't have a problem streaming movies either. My data speeds overall are just fine with and without the case. I've never had reception issues with either the Vapor or this one, it's just the GPS that's off
I agree but they are in the process of getting new packaging that is supposed to be done this week sometime from what they have said. Would you have rather waited another week for your case just so you could have a package that it came in? Its a lose lose situation for them. If they would have waited for the new packaging, you would have been mad that you had to wait so long on the case. So they sent you the case the way they did and now you don't like that either. So, honestly I would rather have the case then the packaging. But truthfully, resetting your phone will usually fix gps issues. If you phone is used to having a case on where it was searching hard for a gps signal then sometimes it throws it off, sometimes if you just restart your phone it will fix this. It may not, but I bet it will. Let us know.

I think they really have sold that many. I wouldn't wait, the longer you wait, the further down the line you go. It might not be 10 days,they are probably just saying that to be safe.

Damn I hate you! I wasn't considering getting one, but after seeing these pictures (which I think is probably the truest representation of the actual color yet), it REALLY makes me want one lol.
For the people that have them, how does the grip on the case feel? I'm currently using the apple bumper and love it, I've tried other cases and many of them feel "slippery" kind of like the phone will slide out of my hand. Does the case give off that slippery feeling or ? I am assuming to a certain degree the indent of the cap makes it easier to hold onto, but as for the actual delrin/cap please give me your impressions!

I agree. I was dissapointed to say the least. It was like 5 days after the Hybrids came out when we placed our orders. How can they possibly outsell that many that fast?
Well in chatting w/some folks 2 things have come to surface. First it seems that the reason for the backlogs is that they are swapping a boat load of their original cases for the Hybrids. The next item is the cost of the new design. It's higher because of the many returns/swap-outs which they are encountering. So it looks like all customers, new/old are paying the price for the returns.
So while folks have debated the higher cost of the new design due to the materials involved etc., that may or maynot be the case (no pun intended).
Atomic gets a "BIG" shout out for trying to do good, by swapping the originals for a proper working model/design. It just seems that everyone new/old are also picking up the tab ($$$) not only for the original/flawed design but also for the shipping delays that have currently surfaced as well.
