Atomic Hybrid Composite Case IP4

I forgot to mention. With my previous set of ear buds, they were L shaped and would not fit any of my cases except the apple bumper so I went to best buy and bought the little 5 or 6 dollar extender. That will let you use any set of ear buds you want to. Or this one that is even cheaper.

That is your best route, then you can use any head phones or ear buds you want.
If that link does not work, then type in ear phone extender and it will bring them up. Its a couple of bucks is all.
It's really easy. If one PC click to reply and under where you type your message you'll see "manage attachments". Just click on that and it will let you browse for pics. Haven't figured out how to do it from my iPhone. I'm a newbie too

I needed to buy an iPod extension cable, because I couldn't charge my phone with my alarm clock ipod dock. It's a slim fitting connector which fits perfectly with the case on. Here is a link to the eBay item I bought.
I hope it will still work for my phone, I sorta forgot to pay attention that the connectors are different for the iP4. I needed the slim plug, but if it doesn't fit I'll have to do some wiring.

I just got word from Atomic that in two weeks time they will be selling the anodized aluminum sides separately so we can customize up to wazoo

I've been looking for a quality case for a while, and this fits the bill perfectly. I've got an IP4 with an identity crisis (switches between being a white or black phone on the regular) and these cases will make either color look awesome.
I'm hoping to get the black/gunmetal combo as well as the white/green combo, then when the other caps become available for separate purchase I will get a few other colors to mix it up.
I am an impatient person, so if anyone has any of the mentioned colors in hand and aren't satisfied with them for some reason, hit me up at my user name at gmail.com and maybe we can work something out.

Hi Guys, I'm going to get one of the Atomic Hybrids - I'm not sure, which one to combine with black - Gunmetal or Brushed? Which one is comparable to the MacBookPro finish? I guess the Brushed? The iP4 antenna is more like the Gunmetal, isn't it? Thanks...

Anybody with white/brushed and white/gunmetal care to post some pics of them side by side?
I can't decide if I want brushed or gunmetal...
im in the same spot. it seems like the gunmetal is close to the color of the metal band around the phone so i might just stick with that.i suppose any dirt/scratches etc wont show up as much on the gunmetal as it would on the brushed.

I have had mine on the phone and have dropped only ONE call since I have replaced the Vapor. Signal got better by about 5-8 db from the Vapor to this Hybrid.
Anyone want to buy a slightly used Black/Blue Vapor?

Something I've discovered with all the metal cases - it really helps to align everything if you line things up as you are screwing tight - put 'em all in and then tighten to get a good flush fit:

I read a post that in 2 weeks they are going to start selling just the caps. Anyone else heard anything on this. I LOVE this case and am fighting off the urge to buy another one. But would rather wait for just the caps(if pretty soon, I'm more than a little impatient) Any news would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have emailed 5 times asking when my hybrid replacement is coming and I got two non specific responses, one saying they are shipping daily and the other asking for my paypal ID which I have now sent 3 times.
Sounds like some of you have had a great cs experience with this company but they have been. Nightmare for me many times over.

It seems like the only reason they would ask for your paypal id is to refund you. I had another case on order and then the orders starting piling in and the wait went to 10 days or so and I was asked if I wanted my money back until normal shipping was resumed and also so they could get out cases to people who had not gotten one yet so I said yes, it wasn't that big of a deal and it seemed fair to let other get theirs since I already had 2 and I just said yes and is was back in there within minutes. So maybe that's why, have you checked you account to see if they refunded your money?

If they havent refunded and you don't already have one I would wait. Keep your place in line. I waited and I'm happy I did. Unless it's urgent that you need the money. But if you ordered this case doubt that's the issue, it's spendy. You've already waited this long. Kinda how I figured it. But I do understand wanting it asap. I did too). I hope you find out soon.
