If you used a credit/debiit card, I think they are right. Ive had it take as much as 7-10 days to get a refund to my credit card (after the merchant initiated the refund).

anyone having problems installing this case? my sleep/awake button keeps getting jammed when i install it.

I had the same problem, but you just have to loosen the screws and realign the case without applying pressure on the top.

yes i use paypal with credit card, but when i buy on ebay last week the seller give me the refund very fast that rare form atomic

yes i give mi correct address and they say that USPS not reconozied it and ups not ship to PO box that to rare because i buy last month on element web and they ship via usps priority and arrives perfect i buy on eBay all time and they ships via USPS and everything arrives perfect

Anyone have a Verizon iPhone 4 to test the fit of the hybrid on it? I've still got a couple sets of the hybrid and will be getting my Verizon version tomorrow, am a little worried the side buttons won't fit. Based off side comparisons the lower volume button might just barely fit the current case, and if that is correct I don't need to get a new case. :)

I'm going to be holding onto my unlocked ip4 w/T-Mobile and doing side by side comparisons at all the major places I frequent (work, home, etc) and see if the Verizon one is worth the higher monthly rate.

Thanks for the link. However, are those cases purchased from Atomic after they revised the case to fit the Verizon one? Or will my cases that I bought before the Verizon one was officially announced fit the Verizon version? Because those pics make it look like the Atomic cases are the updated ones that still have the same amount of space underneath the lower volume button.

I'd contact Atomic but I'm not sure how well they are at responding currently...

It should be fine. The only thing that moved was the vibrate switch, and it moved downward (where there's plenty of space in the current design). The picture below (from NancyZ earlier in this thread) shows this.

Oh. I'm an idiot; I thought I'd read that all three of the buttons got moved slightly down, I didn't realize it was only the vibrate switch. Guess my reading comprehension is lacking.

Thanks for that clarification, I am happy to be found an idiot, it now saves me money and I can keep my cases and just sell my old iPhone.

Sadly, the Verizon version has internal changes that cause my white conversion kit to not be able to work with it, but at least I can keep my cases.

3.5mm Jumper

Does anyone know of a 3.5mm jumper (male to male) short cable maybe 1 ft that can fit into the atomic hybrid? Maybe just a little adapter that can fit so we can hook up our speakers whenever we want.

I have some speakers that I wanna tie into but the audio jack is too big. So if I had a little adapter that would be perfect. I've searched online and have only seen 3.5mm jumpers that have fat ends that dont fit.

Any help?

Ugh...I'm tired of this misconception continually being stated. If the time is taken to examine Apple's own engineering drawings for case manufacturers you will see that your statement is not true.

I'm sorry...the volume buttons moved a touch over half a millimeter downward on the Verizon model, if you want to be technical. My point being, it shouldn't affect the fit of the case, as shown by scezlifan's posts on that Verizon site linked to above.

Ditto. Not even half a millimeter. Point is it should fit and the only SIGNIFICANT change affecting case fitment is the mute switch as Chris stated.

It fits the Verizon Version perfect. No different than the at&t version. Here are two pics of the case on a Verizon IPhone. Mine chrome, the wife's is purple.

I'm not doubting that it would fit, most cases with a single ample cutout will be just fine. My point was simply the fact that most people say only the vibrate switch moved, which is not the case.

Just received my case (black and gunmetal) for my CDMA iPhone. I am not impressed. It has at least 3 significant flaws that I can only hope to be defects with my particular case:

1) I have installed it 3 times, and every time, when the screws are tightened to the point of flush between the 2 case pieces, the power button is completely stuck in its slot and unpressable. I have experimented with various tightness-es of the screws and this does not help.

2) The case does not fit flush against my iphone, which may explain problem #1. The long composite piece bows out and actually leaves a gap between my iphone and the case.

3) In all of the holes cut in the case, small plastic fragments remain. This gives the case an appearance of cheap plastic - I did not pay $80 for such shoddy workmanship.

I sent an e-mail to their sales department. If they can convince me this is just my case that is defective, I will exchange, but I am scared that this is just a POS product.

This is supposed to be the best of the aluminum cases? Very disappointed.

Looks like they had some bad buttons go out. Mine has great feedback, and no gaps. There was someone else with the same issue as your having. Did you try tightening the top screws without forcing down the top button area? That worked for someone on this thread i believe.

I just got my Hybrid case today, Black + Clear.
It's a great case, doesn't have any effect on the signal at all and it looks really sharp!

I might remove the back sticker.. it no longer looks good with a case like this on..

The only thing i'm annoyed about right now is my aluminum piece has quite a lot of small scratches on it (can't see in the photos but really obvious to the naked eye), do you guys have scratches on yours too? Do you think Atomic can give me a replacement part? Afterall it's not a cheap case and I do expect it to be in good condition.. Thanks!

They sent me an e-mail saying they thought at first there was a bad batch of buttons, but now they think a few cases were mis-tapped - ie the screw threadings were off causing both the button problem and the bowing on the delrin piece. They are over-nighting me a new case (after testing the fit supposedly), and are throwing in an extra cap for the "inconvenience." I am still a bit skeptical, but at least the customer service is responsive. Will update when I get it tomorrow...

How tight exactly is this case suppose to fit? I expressed some concern the first day I got it to atomic saying the delrin side of the case has some flex and isnt really sticking flush with the left side of my phone. I still havent gotten a response from them though and thats been over a week ago...
