Atomic Hybrid Composite Case IP4

Received a warning from a mod for 'selling' my item out of the marketplace. I didn't even know there was a marketplace, lol. So if anyone is interested in picking up black Hybrid case with four caps (green, red, orange, yellow) please look for my soon to be created listing in the marketplace. :) Thanks! And sorry if I caused anyone heart issues for mentioning I had an extra Hybrid case in the Hybrid thread, it seemed a natural place to put it. :rolleyes:

EDIT: Scratch that, it seems due to my not having countless hours to spend building up my post count to 250 I don't even have access to the marketplace. You'd think being a member since June of last year would be sufficient. Shouldn't need to be 250 post count AND 6 months membership, one of them should suffice. It seems to be asking for a bunch of filler posts being made just to build up your post count.

Does anyone else have a case that doesn't seem to fit snugly no matter how you position it? My white one has a bit of movement, even when fully tightened. I'm hoping the Lucky Labs skin I just bought will fix the issue.

I have one and noticed the same thing. Especially in the upper left corner. And believe it or not, my Lucky Labs antenna wrap made mine WORSE. It's like it made the antenna's surface even more slick, allowing more sliding of the case back and forth.

Just got mine, black/gunmetal. Shipped quite quickly to Australia. Thanks to everyone in this thread for all the reviews and pictures. Awesome fit. Pretty tough for a student to drop close to AU$100 on a case! No regrets though. Reppin' the SGP leather back here.

why don't you mail them and try to get a replacement?
 
Speaking of the minor looseness, is anyone else's case have some slight give to the delirin side along the vertical portion of the phone? I just noticed this right now. It's kinda bendy.

If you mean right in the center of the all delrin side (i.e., right below the cutout for the volume buttons), yes, there is some inward flex there. It's almost as if the case is bowing out right there slightly, as you can see more of the silver of the antenna band at that point before putting pressure on it and flexing it in.

Thanks chris. That is exactly what I'm talking about. I guess it's just a product of the delrin.
 
I placed my order for 4 Hybrid cases on 27th Nov.
Emailed Atomic a couple of times, emailed Unni twice and finally got a reply from him on 6th Jan regarding my order.
Unni apologised and offered me 4 free color caps as compensation.

Atomic finally shipped out my order on 15th Jan and I just received the package today.
However, only the 4 cases arrived while the 4 extra color caps are missing.
The worst thing is out of the 4 cases, 1 of the cases had problems fitting my iphone 4.
The curvature on the red color cap are kinda off, so they fit on the iphone but leave a pretty obvious gap showing the silver metal sides of the iphone.

Anybody else have these problems?

I just emailed Unni about the missing color caps and the defective case and am awaiting a resolution.

I really really want one of these before the VZW iPhones come out so once I get mine I can just pop on my case.. But does anyone else find it unusual for UPS Ground shipping ( the lowest price) to be $40.54? I mean I know shipping to hawaii is always a bit more expensive like in the 10-20$ range, but i've never seen it this expensive just for ground... I tried to email them to see if it was an error but still got no reply... What you guys think?

How is it possible "ground" to go to Hawaii...doesnt it change to air once it gets to CA ? :p

UPS ground to NY is $14-ish, so $40 seems high either way. Go USPS express.

The case won't fit, it hits the mute switch. They need to have the opening about a 1/4 inch longer and then it will but as of right now, I can tell you from experience that you are wasting your money unless you are going to make it fit yourself. Why do you think I sold all my Atomic and everyone else's cases?

On the contrary, the case does fit. The mute button is lowered just a little bit. The volume button remains the same. Why would you say it does not fit?

My bad, your right. The Atomic will fit, the e13 hits the switch. I think the only case that would work is the Atomic now that I think about it. Here is a picture of the two. I was supposed to be getting one of their new limited edition cases but I haven't heard anything about it. Then I could see for myself how it looking in a Verizon IPhone. The top is Verizon and the bottom is at&t. This is a real picture, no photo-shopping. And yes I took the picture so I know its the real deal.

lol even tho it wouldn't be technically shipped from ground they still charge the "ground rate". Just takes maybe 2-3 Extra days to get here. I would have loved to go USPS cuz that is usually cheaper.. But the only options I get is...
UPS Ground - $40.54
UPS 2nd Day Air - $45.82
UPS Next day air - $65.60

Are there any other ways to get shipping options?

I tried to email them by using the store website "contact" button, but that doesn't seem to work. Anyone know of another way to contact them?
