Atomic Hybrid Composite Case IP4

When you pay $10 or so for shipping, one would think it'd take less than a week to arrive

Agreed. Day one had some 'delivery exception' notation in the tracking, but east coast to east coast delivery should not be five working days regardless.
 
Update

Have used hybrid for two days now and have had no issues with gps at all it has been on target all weekend. Today I went to areas were I would lose signal with Vapor and Fusion and had no such issues with Atomic. Only minor complaint I have is that the composite side seems to have a very small gap between itself and phone on left side. Hardly noticeable but alot of us here are perfectionist and notice these things. Overall I am very happy with the case. Gunmetal looks awesome in the sunlight.
 
That is why I hate Fed Ex, they are slow as hell. I always use USPS but I guess nothing you can do when they don't offer that service. But I am glad I payed for overnight, that's for sure.

Did you figure out how to post pictures yet? I want to see gunmetal on the phone!

If there had been an overnight option when I ordered I would've chosen that. Why they offer only one shipping option for the States and two for international is beyond me but meh

Well to be honest, I payed about half as much as a case cost to have it shipped overnight. I think it was almost 40 bucks but I am impatient and honestly I am glad I did. But, yours will show up soon enough I am sure.
 
Shipping Time

I ordered mine directly from them before they went live on the site. Not only did it ship out after new orders were already arriving, it was shipped via FEDEX snailmail.

Seriously. Have they never heard of Flat Rate Priority boxes? Charge me $10, the box is $5 to ship and keep the 5 bucks. At least I would get it in a reasonable timeframe. 8 Days via FedEx is a joke.
 
Got mine today - very very cool...signal is perfect in all areas - and GPS is fine. Got the black/bushed cap - this is the final ultimate case that works.....Agree the hybrid side feels very metallic and solid....since I had the identical cap with black insulator from the original atomic case, I used that for double insulation.

Ordered mine this morning via Fedex. So hopefully I'll get it next week. I'm in NJ. If it was Priority, I would get it in 2 days flat.

Well I have the same color but you obviously have a better camera than me haha. Looks good.

Looks very good indeed, quite excited to get mine now.

Question though, how similar in feel is the hybrid side to the Vapor's? I've noticed with the Vapor that since it's just aluminum it slides quite easily in my hand so I'm wondering if the Atomic does the same.

feels identical enuf to full aluminum cases

I actually asked the same thing to Atomic and they sent me a video of the white case being milled. So I can honestly say that they are milled and not molded.

Well they came a long way in finish then, and performance. Granted its not all aluminum, but then again, it looks like it and it WORKS so who cares! Bravo. Time to order up a couple. Gunmetal for moi, pink for the wifey.

I agree, I got the other carbon back, kinda wish I would have got this one instead. Oh well.
