All premier orders got the same message (as soon as 9/21) no matter what time you ordered it until they changed the message to as soon as 14-21 days later in the morning. Mine quickly went from pending to pre-order processing after I was finally able to order around 5:15 central. Card was charged in full, but I have received nothing else from AT&T. The only way Premier accounts are going to get it on 9/21 is if Premiers allotment is separate from the rest of AT&Ts.
 
this is frustrating. i ordered around 9:30am Eastern time. got confirmation email from ATT. Check the status page and it says "processing". I JUST received a text from ATT saying my order is processed and ready to ship. I check the order page, still says "processing"

no further emails from ATT

I think that's normal cuz mine says the same thing yet it's already sent to warehouse and being prepped for shipping. My guess is that ATT's website uses their status descriptions very loosely so processing could mean anything from charging your payment to packing your order. Just be patient, if you've done everything on your end, then you're good to go. ;)

Could be worse.. mine still says pending.
 
I got a confirmation email but when I go to get view my order online it says that the order doesn't exist and to say wait around 24 hrs. Do you guys think anything is wrong with it?
 
I'm in the same boat. I ordered a bit before you and still nothing.

My order does show in my account online but I haven't received any emails.

I got an email right away thanking me for my order (8:15AM EST) It didn't show up online right away but it's showing up now as "pending".

I did get a text message around 12:50PM from AT&T saying my order was processed instead of an email though. The website still says processing but I think it'll say that right up until it ships.

Two years ago when I ordered the 4 I remember it saying "processing" right up until the day before it shipped so I'm not that worried.

Also, I ordered the 64gig phone and that one doesn't seem to be as popular as the 32 so maybe that's why my order went through a little easier?

it probably won't change until they get a tracking number from fedex or whoever they use for shipping. I wouldn't expect it to change until next week.

It's probably going to say "processing" right up until they actually ship it. In fact, when I ordered the 4 through AT&T I don't think they changed it until the day before it was to be delivered so I wouldn't worry about it.
 
Placed my order at 8:00am PST, got a confirmation email at 11:01am, and it says the iPhone will ship in 14-21 days.

Then I check the order status, and it says "Processing", any chance I could get it on the 21st?

Hmm...I'm hoping we made it in just before the cutoff time.

We ordered the same day, in fact the very morning pre-orders went live. I'd be very disappointed if we had to wait 2-3 weeks. I was even up at 3am last night and AT&T wouldn't take my money so I had to wait for a physical store to open up, and now this.

I got a conformation e-mail and order number but my order still isn't showing on AT&T's website, is yours? I called the store up and they told me it can take up to 24 hours to show up.

I've been told over the phone that Premier orders might take a day or two to update status on their system. They had some system failures due to the high loads.

Orders will be shipped first come first serve so for those of us that got "Your iPhone has been reserved and should arrive as soon as Sept 21, 2012", we might get it as early as launch day but it could also push back a week or so. The earlier you were able to place your order the better chance you have of still getting it on launch day.
 
I had a similar problem, when i called at 12:30am PST to order, the lady said she couldn't do it because the system was down, and so I called in this morning at 8 and it went through fine.

AT&T is so disorganized, they've had 5 chances to get this right, they knew it was going to be a huge product launch, and once again they dropped the ball.
 
I slept overnight ;) and then had a meeting this morning, so I didn't get my order in until around 9:45 a.m. EST. I got an order received email that says "as soon as the 21st" but I haven't received anything else yet.
 
Are you guys able to view your order status at att.com? I placed my orders around noon, have received all email messages confirming order, order #, ship date ( 9/21 ), and the follow-up text message. But if I log into my account at AT&T website, it shows that orders placed within the last 24 hours may not show up and my orders are not found?

Yes... I have pending charges from AT&T for the appropriate amounts...

Then you're probably okay.
I'm concerned because nothing's hit my card. I talked to my bank and they said that nothing's even tried to be authorized. So it wasn't declined or some other problem, the charge was never even attempted.
