Anyone else having issues with AT&T live chat support?

I wan't to see if I can persuade them to credit my $36 upgrade fee.

Any luck?
 
Same here...ordered at 7am central...and my cc hasn't been charged either. Hmmm....:confused:

They don't actually charge your credit card until your order is shipped. However, a pending charge should show up- it is their way of holding that amount so they know they'll get their money when your order ships. The only way you can see that is if your CC company shows you that info (mine does- Citibank).

You could call your CC company and ask them if there is a pending charge from AT&T.

I just called and there's no pending charge from AT&T. Strange isn't it? Maybe it will show tomorrow...who knows! Thanks for your help.
 
Man, I'm still "processing" from a 5:30am order EST. No confirmation email. No text. From my memory this happened on the iphone 4 preorder, too, but AT&T came through and it was delivered on the launch day (somewhat surprisingly).
 
I ordered at about 1:40 am pacific time from at&t site. I got a 12 digit order number, still no email, nothing on my credit card. New customer to at&t porting numbers from Sprint. Is there anyone I can talk to ??

Update: I do see a pended auth on my chase visa card when I checked it online.. Still no confirm email :(

What is the next step after 'processing'? I pre-ordered immediately as the page went live. When will the people receiving their phones next Friday get their shipping numbers most likely?
 
Okay so I made 2 upgrade preorders last night 3:20 PST and got an email right after both lines. They this morning at 10 PST showed Status: Attention. Now one says preorder processing and the other still shows attention. Is this normal?

I got Attention on mine too... 32GB Black :(

My girlfriend's says 'Preorder Processing' on her account. 16GB White

Both ordered through Premier.
 
The "Cancel Preorder" button has disappeared from my Premier order status page. My status is still "Pending." I'm not sure if this is a good or bad sign. See the before and after below.

for anybody wanting to change shipping address on an apple order I was able to change the name on my delivery by going to order details and editing my shipping address.

Pre-order went through at 2:05 AM today and i just received my confirmation email. I found something in the email that i thought was rather strange. It gives me a breakdown of the purchase and here is what it says:
Type Description Monthly Price One Time Price
Line 1 (my name and phone number)
Device Apple iPhone 5 - 16GB - Black $199.99
Features Data Unlimited for iPhone on 4G LTE without Visual Voicemail $30.00
Data Unlimited for iPhone on 4G LTE $30.00

*Order Total $199.99

Why does it show 2 data unlimited but one of them says without visual voicemail? Will i get voicemail, are they charging me twice? Im so confused:confused:
 
Just ordered a new iphone 5 for my wife...Got a confirmation that our order has been processed just a few hours later!
 
Gone for me too. They might be doing this to thwart people from canceling after they let us know that we won't get it on launch day. :\

Haha that's certainly one pessimistic way to interpret it. I'm betting that our orders are in the early stages of processing. They may be getting ready to charge our credit cards or send our orders to warehouses for preparation.
 
My AT&T pre-order (premier) was sent at 7:22am EDT. It is still "Pending".

What I wanted from the get-go was a no-commitment version, which I knew Apple wasn't offering on their site unless you were ineligible for any type of upgrade. Well I was completely off contract. AT&T's site was down for me from 3:00-3:30 on Safari and IE. I was able to get all the way to the check-out screen in Chrome (starting with the basic page and selecting the no-commitment pricing) but then it choked up there. So I decided to order on-contract from the Apple Store. Both the Apple site and iPhone app were working, so I ordered the 5 and called it a night (for 2 more hours, at least) after I got my e-mail from Apple.

This morning, I figured I'd try AT&T again. It registered that I was ineligible for the upgrade pricing, so obviously the Apple eligibility check went through. AT&T's site was working fine, so I went in and sure enough, all it gave me was no-commitment pricing so I placed a pre-order and got the "as soon as 9/21" message.

Since my Apple order is definitely arriving the 21st, my main concern is getting the AT&T order before the return period ends on my Apple order (9/21 or even the following week would be a bonus). Ideally, I'd activate the one from Apple on Friday to get the SIM card working, and then when the full price version shows up from AT&T I'd submit its IMEI for an unlock, swap the sim card, and then return the Apple version so I go back off contract. We'll see what happens.

Several people with grandfathered unlimited data have that and I don't think anyone has an answer yet. It's likely just a bug/error that will get resolved automatically. Worst case scenario it's a "bug" that ends up costing people their unlimited data plans but hopefully that won't happen.
