ATT iPhone 5 Pre-order thread

Mine said it shipped via FedEx on the 16th but when i clicked on the tracking number it said it didnt have any info about that package. Did you check your tracking?
 
i got a fedex tracking number when i checked my status for my 16gb black iphone but nothing comes up when i track it lol

Exactly the same except 9:03 CT. Same thing happened to me on the 4s. Maybe they process web orders first. My CC pending charges dropped yesterday and as of this morning my CC balance doesn't reflect any charges.
 
Mine is still back ordered and I order at 3 am est on the 14th. I called CSR just now and they said it would be shipped on Oct 4-15 because I never accepted the terms and conditions then I complained that I never got an email. I was then transferred to online orders and was dropped right away.

I then called again and this time I was once again told that I will get it 10/4-10/15. I told him that I had a confirmation saying that I would get it on the 21st and then he said that if I don't get an email stating that I would get it on 10/4-15 then I shouldn't worry. He said that because a lot of the iphones are on backorder so the system shows that. He also said it wasn't because of the terms and conditions.

I really hope they don't know what they are talking about....because from what it seems now i won't be getting it at launch and I stayed up until 3 am to place the order.

early bird gets the early worm indeed. In my my case, waking up 1:45AM last Friday to pre-order this phone when it went live @ 2AM on AT&T website worked!!

JUST GOT MY SHIPPING UPDATE from Fed EX! Boo yeah!!

Mine didn't have a tracking number next to it.
I'm just glad it said shipped though. 😀
I'll keep checking.

He Bs'd you to get you off the phone regarding the 21st confirmation email. Trust me, I've been through 5 or 6 CSRs right now. first they tell you the order is ok, then when you push them and tell them you can see the status is back ordered they back track.

Anyone know of any way to get beyond the front line CSR? I can't seem to get a manager or supervisor to take a call. I just keep getting they will call me back.

This year the same. Will probably cancel and pick it up at the store. 😡

I ordered with an upgrade subsidy. The store, which originally said I would get it on the 21st, now says three to four weeks, and says I can't cancel my order so I can pick up one in the store Friday. That doesn't seem right to me.
 
So here is what we went through

1) We had to wait who knows how long to receive an order confirmation.

2) After that we saw that our ordered were all back ordered.

3) After getting out of back order, no ones order even shipped.

4) After finally receiving a freaking tracking number, it's not live.

This is the life of a MacRumors Forumer

This makes sense for a couple of reasons - first we heard from teh other thread that AT&T had a ****-load of 16gb already in their fulfillment warehouses in the US, but that other phones were coming from China.

Plus - from reading almost all the pages of this thread for the last 24 hours (not recommended for your mental health btw) it seems like most people who have reported getting off back-order and getting shipping info were 16gb or 32gb phones.

Still showing in backorder
 
Preorder 5 minutes before midnight!Still 1 Back-ordered

i call att and they say that there's no way it will arrive on friday!!because that's when they will start to ship to the people!! 😕
