Is there Anyone who ordered on 9/14 at a corporate AT&T store showing anything other than back-ordered?

I ordered in store on 9/14 and I have yet to find anyone who did so and isn't still on backorder. I'm HOPING maybe the people who ordered in a store just aren't getting status updates for some reason? I dunno. There are people here who ordered later than I did that have tracking numbers. I'm still stuck on backorder like yourself.

It shows my 64 gb black phone as "in progress" and "pending shipment". Very strange since the order status page whe i am signed in to my att account just shows "processing". Anyway, looks like I am going to get it on Friday. I did not order it through premier.

I am thinking 8am est on Friday morning was the cutoff, since I ordered at 7:50am est, while people who ordered at 8:10am est are pushed back to October.

"In progress" and "processing" are the same thing. Pending shipment just means you won't have a tracking number until it ships.

Me too. Ordered black 16GB at the store morning of the 14th in FL 9:03 Still back ordered
 
I just saw my info updated with a FEDEX tracking number, so looks like mine is coming Friday or perhaps sooner. I ordered mine at 12:04a.m. on Friday so was one of the first. I ordered one for my gf at 8:30a.m. on Friday and hers is still showing pending...she is going to kill me:)

Man that's frustrating! I ordered 7pm PDT I'm still showing backordered (1) and 9/14 order date. Why would they push yours to 9/17? Was there any issues that came up when they pre-authorized the payment?

Nope. I accepted my terms and conditions at 830 pm EST. Saturday I called and they said your terms were accepted and the online chat pasted me my order and said order date 9/14. Monday comes around I FINALLY got an email confirming my order even tho I did everything Friday and my charges came out the SECOND I ordered. My charges disappeared from my account today though.
 
My 64gb black is showing as back-ordered. I placed the order at 7:30am EST Friday.

Just talked to a at&t rep online and asked him about the backorder on my unit and he said he could find no sign of it saying it is back-ordered. He could give me no information other than to say it is in process. Complete waste of time, but I figured it would be.

So who knows if it will be shipped this week, next week, or the week after. AT&T you need to get your act together!
 
Iphone order update

I just spoke to rep who confirmed that iphone had been shipped and will be sent Fri. I also checked status and the pic is below

One of my Premier 32GB Black, ordered around 10:45 am EST, has been shipped! No tracking number yet. I'm still waiting on the other one but it's been several hours behind the first this whole time so I'm hoping it'll go out later today.
 
how do i check the status of my order? I'm on the stupid premier direct business account and i had to go instore as soon as they opened to order since my account wasn't setup correctly to buy online...so i have the reciept here and it doesnt really list an order # that i can see...i try to search by wireless # on the AT&T site but it just comes up with nothing... any ideas? thanks.

I ordered in an AT&T store on 9/14 and mine is not on backorder. Shows as shipped but no tracking number.

Ordered 9/14 about 11:30 am Mountain time
Black 16GB
Premier
Status switched to "shipped" this morning, but no tracking numbers yet
 
Factors that matters with the delay

- the time you ordered(duh)
- where you ordered from
- what storage you ordered(e.g. 16gb might ship faster than 64gb. Depends on how much inventory they have of a specific storage)
- color(but not that much)
 
Ordered at 8:45 AM mine just changed to order on 9-15 and shows backordered.

It also shows 64 GB Black and I ordered a 16 White so something is very wrong.


Oh nevermind it was showing the wrong order number... Weird I had the order number right. Hmm

same i ordered 1 16gb blk and it shows 2 iphones instead of 2 various sims with tracking very odd it wasnt like that 2 hrs ago

sry i misread my status still getting one iphone even tho i ordered another one through apple but that is coming oct 5

Just kidding. Happy for you guys, but this is frustrating, and fun. Not to mention, not a lot of work is getting done by a lot of us, I'm sure.

No problem.... did you have shipping to the store? I did and still back-ordered. Someone earlier said he stopped at the store the other day, same situation as us, and they said if ordered before 11am EDT it would arrive on the 21st. Sure hope so.
 
why is anyone putting any stock in what the CSRs say, at this point? It's already been proven over and over that they are clueless.

Unless there' s a problem with your order that requires correction, save yourself the trouble of calling them.

Exactly. I worked at AT&T for 5 years and during my time as a CSR a lot of reps were clueless about everything, even on a normal day to day basis (to say nothing of a major launch like this.) There are also some things they just don't have the answers to. The problem is that there are people who will say whatever they need to say to get you off the phone. Take everything with a grain of salt. It pisses me off hearing the things that some of the posters here have had to deal with, I got many a call from customers calling back about unfulfilled promises.

Sorta, White 16GB ordered at 0811 EST is on backorder. Black 16GB ordered at 0822 has FedEx tracking and I'm hoping will be delivered on Friday!
 
i don't understand

maybe someone can clear this up - how can AT&T (as well as apple/verizon/etc) take "pre-orders," but then sell phones to those in line on friday?

Not complaining...just curious. Shouldn't all pre-orders come first? Stores shouldn't receive a stock if someone put an order for a phone but won't receive it for two weeks.

Oh well..business
