ATT iPhone 5 Pre-order thread

Bad news

I just got off the phone with AT&T Order customer service. I have a confirmed order from 10 minutes after pre-orders began. My order status shows processing with shipped on the 16th and no tracking info. When I called the rep told me that AT&T had not received their shipment so my order won't be shipped until the 21st.
 
You guys are lucky yours even show as shipped. Mine still says in progress. On the plus side however, my backorder did go to "0" last night. We will see I guess. /crosses fingers
 
Lol love how one of my orders has a non working FedEx tracking number but is marked processing (and 0 in the shipped column) and my other order is marked shipped (and has 1 in the shipped column) but doesnt have a tracking number

What does your Premier order status page look like now that it has shipped? Does it still say "Preorder Processing?"

Its funny, I have tracking numbers but it doesn't say it's shipped! :D

mine has never went to backorder and I ordered 2 16gb wht, but then again I am still stuck at processing and tracking info is stuck at pending shipment

email confirmed 624am and 628am cdt on 9/14

tracking still at pending shipment as of 1205 cdt

will continue to wait and see. my 3G I have right now is still working so I'll be fine until I receive the new one. Just wish since i pre-ordered this one that I would receive it on-time but oh well. The sky isn't falling......

32gb black ordered 7:30 cst via premire site, just changed to shipped no tracking number yet
 
Lol. Rep just told me you accepted your terms and conditions for you order on 9/14 but you placed your order 9/17. AT&T is so screwed up. Completely screwed up my order.
 
Pre-Ordered my wife the iPhone 5 White 16GB from ATT.com about 6:30AM on the 14th. I keep checking and it still says processing. Reading this thread it got me worried. So I called the number listed under my order (1-888-333-6651). According to the automated service my order has been processed and is waiting in the warehouse for shipment.

the premier site still says Preorder Processing. What about you?

It's a pretty s****y webpage though. Doesn't look up to date at all.
 
I preordered at 7:35 AM EST on 9/14 and I just got an email saying that the phone would be delivered in 14-21 days! Not happy!!!
 
I ordered as soon as the page went online (3:05)
and I still on backorder for two iphone 5s 16gb black and for a 32gb black!
In the other hand I ordered a fourth phone at 9 am over the phone and for that I just reacived a tracking number!
All the hours are EST
 
just got an email...att premier confirming my order is reserved and will receive in 14-21 business days @@ i ordered at 630am eastern time on the 14th...white 32G

I worked shipping and receiving for my Father in law. If it has a "non-working" tracking number that means the label has been printed but Fedex hasn't seen the box yet to scan it. As soon as the box is released to Fedex and Fedex scans it the tracking will work.

As soon as we print the labels here at work we get a tracking #. We can send that to the customer automatically, but the packages don't get picked up until after 4:30PM.

Ordered through 'regular' online site
Order completed 6:16 AM CDT on the 14th
1x32 GB Black + 1x32 GB White
Both still listed as backordered and "In Progress"
got initial confirmation email and text, nothing since.

For what its worth, when I chatted with a rep, she told me not to worry that anyone who ordered before 11:30 (different time than what I've seen before) would get theirs SHIPPED on Friday.

I wonder how likely this is. I've noticed that there are far fewer people with shipping confirmations indicating that they ordered in the central time zone (there are a couple but they're vastly outnumbered). Perhaps the Illinois shipping center (I believe someone stated that there's one) hasn't started moving things yet. So far I haven't seen anyone say their phone is originating from Illinois.
 
one thing we should all be happy about...how easy the at&t verification code is to read :p

Sometimes other codes can take me 4 or 5 chances....I think I've done it over 100 times and I'm still on b/o so many to go!

Same results after calling that number for my order as well. Ordered at 12:25 PM 9/14 through ATT.com. "Order has been processed, sent to warehouse for shipment, you may not cancel your order at this time."

5am PST through Premier. 64GB black. I had a pending charge on my credit card for the full amount, but as of today, it is no longer there. I received an email from Premier last night saying that my phone would arrive "as soon as September 21."
