Ordered at 6:15 AM Eastern time. Just says processing but I got the CSS email this morning. Anyone else in the same boat?

ordered my (2) 16gb wht @ 624am CDT (724ET) and I received my CSS email @ 407am CDT this morning still processing and shipping info states pending shipment. trying to find out if you ordered in Texas and the order is shipping to a Texas address if tracking info is showing up for other AT&T customers. Might be that they do not have to ship until tomorrow to arrive by Friday.
 
This thread is filled with people who are complaining because at&t messed up. Guess what, if you waited to order your phone after 1m people placed pre-orders, it's not AT&T's fault. If your card was declined or needed approval, guess what, it's not AT&T's fault. If you opened a new account and needed to verify your account, guess what? It's not AT&T's fault.

There were 2 million preorders and most have already shipped. If you're not in that group, stop filling this thread up with stupid complaints about waiting for 3 hours. Next year, do it from the Apple site.

AT&T isn't supposed to have a system setup for a bunch of morons who feel like checking their status 15 times a day just to feel a little bit better about their order. If you were the CEO of a company, would you spend millions of dollars to update a system that is still going to field complaints from millions of brats who ordered at 3pm instead of 3am? Get over it, if it didn't ship by now, there's a good chance it's not going to and you won't be able to show off your phone to your friends until October.

15 times a day? That's a gross under-estimation! I would guess people in this thread are checking more than 15 times an hour!:p

I would agree if it was out of ATT's hands, then yes it isn't ATT's fault... but I double checked with them on the phone twice and they had exactly the right billing information, and I called my credit card and other than the three $1 authorizations (two still show in pending), no transactions occured accepted OR declined against my amex account (i could buy several phones without a problem). Maybe it is the transaction network caused a hickup? But I would think 3 differnt attempts (initial, call at ~4EST Sunday, call at ~8EST sunday) would point to something wrong with the way they are trying to use the system. I called immedately after getting the "call us" email, regardless of the hours it gave... and then kept trying as soon as they opened the next day. I haven't called since as they said it was fixed and I would get receiving it on time... but I still have NO evidence of that being the case... I still don't have access to the screen where people are talking about back-orders.. I still show "ATTENTION" on the premier page (from the iphone it's last update was the 15th... so I can't tell what that means).

I just want to know if I should be expecting on to mysteriously pop out of no where.... or if its cancelled... if preimer said it was "cancelled" I'd be fine.. I'd go to Verizon on Friday and get a phone and be done wtih it. The CSRs are pointless and worthless... but thanks to the stupid discount, I seem to have no choice but to work with them (woo hoo... pay a dollar or two less a month and get 0 support... AWESOME!).

While there are some people complaining who ordered later in the day there are still some, including myself, who ordered very early and still haven't had any change. I ordered at 2:07am central time and my 32gb black is still listed as being on backorder. Doesn't make much sense.
 
Me too... Does yours still say back ordered because mine does...

Back ordered as of tomorrow = youre NOT getting an iPhone.

Clogging up this thread to have someone agree with you wont change the fact that you wont be getting your iPhone on Friday.

Mine says Status: Shipped, QTY Ordered: 1, QTY Shipped: 1

Does this mean I will get it on the 21st? I have no tracking number :(

Maybe something to do with your CC.....who knows.
One thing I do know is that complaining in this tread and expecting someone to feel sorry for you isnt going to happen.

Nobody cares about anyone else. People only come on here to voice their OWN concerns and hopefully have someone, who doesnt know anymore than the person complaining, to tell them 'youll have your iPhone Friday'.

The fact is I ordered after 1 pm on 9/14 yes, I'm complaining because my order status says I placed my order on 9/17. Completely screwed up. I have a reason to complain. I was charged 9/14 when I ordered. There is ABSOLUTELY no reason my order should say 9/17. I literally got F u q e d.

Your missing the point retard. There is no reason my order should have changed to 3 days later. I don't care if I don't get my phone on Friday. I care that I was put 3 days behind for no reason.

Nothing with the credit card, authorization has been there since the 14th.

Not everyone is looking for sympathy. Posting about status updates with times/locations allows people to try to deduce patterns. I've previously stated that there are far fewer people posting shipment confirmations who are claiming they ordered in the central time zone so it may be relevant. It also could mean nothing but I acknowledge that.

Plus, people are allowed to complain if they want to. It's sort of like how you're complaining about the people complaining.

Do you actually think AT&T failing to ship on time will prevent many of us from getting iPhones on launch day. Not remotely but as this a forum for Apple users I thought it would be a suitable place to commiserate with others who also had shipping problems. Apparently the COD playing XBOX set really enjoy this forum as well.

As long as you understand that the iPhone 5 box wont be arriving at your house on Friday, then you have a valid gripe.

Id call ATT and get some type of credit or something.
