I order at 7:30 EDT on friday. Just recieved a similar email shown below:

ATT Status site shows 1 ordered, 0 backordered.
We wanted to confirm that your order is reserved and will ship in approximately 14 ? 21 business days.
just to get a feel for the room, anyone else order a 16GB Black model, around 9:15-ish, and still:

i dont get it. someone recently posted that they ordered at noon and have all the tracking info. what the hell did i do wrong? i got my confirmation email, i got the charge on my bank account (and then it went away)
why does ATT hate me? lol
This gives me hope! I ordered later that day, but a Rep who obviously did not know what he was talking about said that all phone to PR would take from 7 to 14 days, so there is still hope for my case![]()
So I ordered my phone at 9am CST and I got confirmation that it will arrive on the 21st. The next day (the 15th) I got an e-mail telling me to call customer service. They needed to verify my account which they did. I got another on Tuesday to call back. I called today and we figured out that they used the billing address on my At&t so it never got approved. They should have asked to verify that the first time. Fixed it today and finally got confirmation of my order but it says it will ship in "14 ? 21" days.
Did they screw me over?
I would ignore the CSS Agent for now. I have been told both 9/21 and 14-21 days in both emails and over the phone. If you see my post 2 pages back, there is hope as I received a "Final Confirmation" that is now guaranteeing mine will ship 9/21 and I ordered the same 64GB Black iPhone 5 a few hours later than you did. My order still says processing.
So I would still keep hope.
I have exactly the same issue. Ordered 64GB black through premier @ 7:25 AM EST on 9/14. Just got that 14-21 day email an hour ago and status is still on backorder. Sigh...
Here's where I'm at.....

if you activate the phone using his number, his old sim card will get disconnected.
deactivating the old sim card and activating the one in the iPhone.
OMGWTFBBQ, mine just changed to shipped status. no tracking or carrier info though.
That seems to be the consensus (scripted to say 14-21 days).
I think most everyone's still says IN PROGRESS or PROCESSING.
Goto www.wireless.att.com/order_status/order_status
enter your info there (look up by wireless number works for me-order number did not).
See if it says 1 or 0 under QTY BACKORDERED.
The consensus is if it says 0 your in good shape to get it on Friday.
I would assume you should get it Friday based on the time you ordered it. You ordered it earlier than I did. I ordered mine at 7:20 am est and, I'm looking poised to get it Friday (fingers crossed).
Yep, me too, what a kick in the nuts, tons of people ordering after us are getting filled. No biggie, another month won't matter. I have a feeling they just shoved all the premier folks to the bottom of the list for whatever reason.
It is going to suck having my wife using her iPhone 5 for the next month when she doesn't even really know what an iPhone is, in fact she will probably be pissed as it's a different size/weight/blah blah blah....
probably. same thing happened to me. at least you got an email and call. i got nothing.
