My status just finally changed to shipped. No tracking number or carrier information.

Just curious....

It seems that there are two "good" statuses:

• it says "Shipped" with a "1" in the Qty Shipped column, but nothing in the Carrier column, and nothing in the Tracking Number column.

or

• it says "In Progress", a "0" in the Shipped column, "FedEx" in the Carrier column, and a tracking # in the Tracking Number column.

Does anyone's status have all of the above columns complete? Meaning "Shipped", "1" in Qty shipped column, FedEx as carrier, and a tracking #? Doesn't seem to exist yet....

I ordered a 16GB white and 32 GB black, one has one of these status and one has the other.

16GB black ordered 9/14 7:15AM EST through premier. Status went to back order 0 last night. Status now shows "shipped" as status with no tracking number.

Depends. Watch for it tomorrow. If it is still back ordered at end of day tomorrow, you probably will not get it until October

I'm in the same boat. And actually I just checked and my credit card has not been billed either. Wondering if I should do something at this point...

I was billed $1 the minute I finished ordering my phone (I guess that $1 held my phone? Idk?) but I was billed my full payment within a day or so....so i am not sure how the whole billing thing is being worked out! I read a lot of things about that situation and it kind of has me worried!

Which has which? I have the 32 Black and I am shipped with no carrier or tracking info.

You absolutely have to be home to sign if you ordered from AT&T with UPS. My experience last year with the 4S proves it. I called AT&T and UPS and the answer I got was the contract that AT&T has with Apple says it has to be signed for. I ended up "chasing" down my UPS guy at the local lawnmower repair shop to get my phone. It was a real pain in the butt. They wouldn't even let me designate a neighbor or sign the little slip they leave. Had to show ID.

Maybe it depends on your area and like I said AT&T vs. Apple, or FedEx vs. UPS. I've never had to sign for ANY phone ordered through AT&T, including my iPhone 4.

I hope that the 3rd party vendors can start churning these things out along with the adapters chop, chop.

I've seen some no-name knock-off cables on preorder on eBay for cheap but no way am I going to be a guinea pig just to save $15.

Very frustrating. Ordered first thing when I got to my office on Friday (not staying up until 3, that's really disadvantageous for east-coasters). Just got an email that it'll be 14-21 days.

Meanwhile my iPhone 4, which was on its last legs, is totally dead now. Will not turn on. So I'm without a phone for work for up to 21 business days.

AT&T: we'll remind you of what life was like before cell phones.

Same here. Just went off back order for me about 10 minutes ago.

Charge date of 9/15 for the full amount doesn't matter.

I should be getting mine soon as well then because I ordered at 3:04 and had both confirmation e-mails by 3:11 EST. I noticed your order # starts with 10 and so does mine. I have the tracking number but no shipped status yet.

Well, it's 4:25 and my 32GB black iPhone 5 still hasn't shipped. But to be fair, in 2010 it didn't ship until 5:45 and I still received it next day.

Some good news though, on 09/16 I ordered a spare Lightning-to-USB cable and that arrived today FROM CHINA. It's soooo small!!
