ATT iPhone 5 Pre-order thread

Well I finally came off backorder. I ordered over the phone through retentions around 7am cst, received and accepted t&c around 8am cst. This is for a 16gb black.
Ordered 1 black 16gb by phone at 5 am pst 9/14 and one white 16gb online at the same time. Phones were going to different addresses so rep said could order online to save on some fee. Both still on black order. Sheeeeeeeit.
Anyone know what this means?
I had a pending charge for the full amount until this morning, now the charge has completely disappeared from my account. Any idea why and has this happened to anyone else?
I ordered at 2AM CST, still 1 under backorder, processing, and pending shipment. Got the e-mail saying delivered on 21st and the e-mail saying order was processed.

Authorizations are temporary and will drop off after a certain number of days. It varies by bank. It will either be reauthorized or simply charged when it ships.

Whats the CSS email you, and others, are referring to? My status was changed from in progress to shipped sometime overnight yet I havent received any email.

I ordered later than you, but the same thing happened. I ordered around 9am Est and the charge dropped this morning. I don't know if its a good sign or bad one. I was told i was scheduled for 21st delivery.
for those that show shipping but no tracking number, just got off the phone with AT&T.
In a nutshell:
Me: my order online shows that my order has shipped but there isn't any tracking information or carrier
David: there is a huge demand for the iPhone 5, which is why you don't have a carrier or tracking number yet
Me: Will I get tracking information by Friday?
David: You will have your phone in 14-21 days, your pre order will process on Friday, when the phone is released, and you will receive tracking and carrier information that day.
Me: Thanks

Yup, if we've learned anything the only thing that's high is the CSRs when they give us a line that is so far out it's beyond left field.
i think they really have no idea what they are talking about. Yea the phone was shipped and isn't on backorder anymore but it wont be shipped for 14-21 days. Makes COMPLETE sense right? no
Update to my status: White iphone 16gb ordered the night we started preordering around 5 am central time through the premier website. I received my email at 3:30pm central saying the phone was shipped via fedex.
this happened to me. my order went through on the regular ATT site last friday, and i got confirmation email after the purchase at 1:59am central time. i have NOT received a shipping confirmation email, but looking at ATT's site, i see that 64 GB black iphone 5 has shipped. this morning, i checked my bank of america account, and saw no pending transaction (although there was one listed by last friday afternoon...i don't know when it disappeared). i just checked the b of a website five minutes ago and STILL don't have a charge to my card. i assume i'll get charged as soon as i get a tracking number, as the email i got late friday afternoon (followed by a text from ATT) stated that i would be charged at the time of shipping.
ok so I just saw in another thread that verizon is making fedex not hold packages until they at least try to deliver once...does anybody know if at&t is doing this too? I know you can have fedex hold a package at a store because I've done it before...i'm going to be a work on friday so I need to have them hold...hopefully once they ship it you can have this option!
just came out of backorder!!! Black 64 ordered 730a CST on the 14th through premier phone, but had a order date of the 15th and no movement until now. Credit card authorized but not charged yet. Also got the email saying I will have it as soon as the 21st.
