So it seems Premier customers are stuck on "Preorder Processing" and most have been charged the entire amount.
Just a suggestion to make everyone's posts clearer:
When discussing order status, process, etc., note if you are a regular or premier customer since the two sites don't use the same order status terminology or shipping queue. Sometimes you can read a post and tell, sometime not.
Premier customer. Last night it was processing. This morning it was cancelled.
About 30 minutes after the Pre-order opened. Received an email with September 21st delivery as well.When did you order?

I ordered through ATT last night. I got the terms and conditions email at 7:15 P.M. EST and I accepted immediately. I have a pending charge on my credit card, but when I check the order status I get nothing. I also never got any second email after the terms and conditions acceptance.
Was your CC ever charged?
"Well, I called AT&T Premier and they confirmed what I had suspected. Even though I submitted my order at 7:45am CDT on 09/14, they didn't receive my order until just over 9 hours ago. So, basically I got screwed as a Premier customer because the rep said that my order wouldn't ship out until between Oct 4 and 15th. I told her to cancel it and she said she successfully cancelled the order. I'm supposed to get an email confirmation of that. I'll take my chances in the stores."
I ordered through Premier and I tried ordering at 2am CST (start of presale) but I never was able to get through and complete and order until 5:30am CST. I received an email immediately after my order saying my order was received and 'Your iPhone has been reserved and should arrive as soon as Sept 21, 2012.'
The email has a link that says 'You can view the status of your order in Premier at any time.' and pretty much every time I click on that and it brings me to the Premier site, it tells me the Premier site is down?
I checked my CC and $300+ pending from ATT. I ordered 32g white.
I had a reasonably smooth experience preordering the 4 and even got it early (or day of - my memory is fuzzy, but I sort of recall some people getting them a day early?) and I never remembered any indications that my order may be in jeopardy. And I sure didn't wake up at 2am to order, I ordered from my office at 9am last time.
I would just be annoyed because I did wake up and try to order early but ATTs site was so messed up I could not get through. I kept getting weird errors if I could even log in (sorry you have only held your account for less than 30 days so blah blah - I've had ATT since it was Cingular over 9 years now?) and most of the time it wouldn't even let me log in or get to the pick a phone part. Premier was extra broken too it seemed. I know it was apparently unprecedented traffic, but if this kind of thing is going to happen maybe they need to revise the system?

I would bet that we are all in the same boat here. Our CC's not getting charged until early this morning (and at that point the orders going from pending to processing) would imply to me that we did not make it into the first shipment. Oh well.
