Man, that is F up if its true thou, i woke up early as hell,but it was a mess to order,uknow, i ordered at 7:45am EST and got that same email, but my card hasn't been charge and when i check the premier site, status is: "attention"
WTH? :eek: Ugh, i had my iphone 4 sold to gazelle, but i have till october 1st to send it in order to get a good price

If the status is 'attention', then there is some other issue.

Says Shipment status: processing. Thats progress for me... :)
 
My Premier order is stuck at "Attention" and I have no way of verifying what they need. Here's the deal:

When I click on the confirmation e-mail, I can see the status as "Attention." It says I can log in for support, but when I do that, and attempt to register my wireless number to establish a premier login, it tells me I can't since I have an Individual Responsibility Account and am ineligible for a login. So I click on another link to get to the Premier login for my company's Premier login site, can get there, but then can't find the order.

So, thanks to AT&T putting me into a "Premier" order list that I can't access, I have no way of knowing what information they need or fixing my order, and of course there is no information anywhere on the site or confirmation e-mail to call anyone. Chat is available M-F only :mad:

My card hasn't been charged, so I'm guessing maybe they threw a flag, but again, have no way of knowing for sure.


At least I have my Apple.com order that is preparing for shipment. I really want the no-commitment one I ordered from AT&T, though, before my 30 day return period is up.

I'm in the same exact boat with att premier, :mad: i think we are screwed and we wont get the phone on the 21st, ugh!!
 
Here is my current understanding of the situation for most, if not all premier customers. I am going to use the times that have been applicable to me, but it seems that most people can apply this to their situation as well.

1. Submitted my order through Premier around 7:15 EST.
2. Immediately received 'As soon as Sept 21' email.
3. No secondary email/text/etc the rest of the day
4. Some time between 11pm-1am this morning, my CC got charged FULL amount (no $1 charge, and the full charge has a date of yesterday).
5. Also during this time, the status has updated to 'Processing' on both the premier link and the regular ATT site.
6. As of 11AM EST, status on Premier is Preorder Processing. Status on ATT.Com is Processing. No shipping info, and still no second email or text.

According to at least one user on the apple board, they are not considered part of the first shipment of orders. It does not appear that ATT became fully 'aware' or our orders until the status change/CC charge.

Order mine thru premier yesterday at 6 am est. No activity in all day after first email. Woke up at 7 am today and nothing.

At 9 am there was a note on the order status page that I need it to validate address and order was still processing.

Called quickly and validate. As soon as I hung up a 299.99 charge appeared on my card thought the order status is still processing. The rep told me I will receive an email when my phone it's ready to ship but she couldn't tell me when was going to be.

Hoping I can still make the 21.
 
If you add a line to another persons account to pre-order, does the terms and conditions get sent to the account holders email that they have to ok before your pre-order can get processed?

On a side note (not to be rude), I believe some posters in this thread actually ordered through the Apple store, which has nothing to do with ordering through AT&T directly. There is a separate thread for orders through the Apple store.

Called Premier Support yesterday around 4pm when I saw the status changed to "Pending" and they told me that's ok and the next status would be "order processed or processing" which actually happened last night, few hours after I spoke to them.

Also interesting, the Support rep mentioned that they'll get their iPhone5 shipments from Apple on Sep 21, then they'll ship them the same day. I hope it's not the case and would be earlier!

Anyone get the $15 overnight shipping? I got priority since that was going to arrive Friday. I assume the overnight will arrive thursday?
 
Ordered 7AM PST through Premier.

Status changed to Preorder Processing last night around 10PM.

As of this morning, status is the same with no charge to CC.
 
I think people are stressing over missing the first shipment for no reason. Remember we still have 5 business days until Sept. 21st. I bet they're shipping items out first using regular ground, and then gradually ramp it up to 2-3 days to overnight in order to get the phone to you on the 21st. In other words, they will probably be shipping phones out everyday as they process orders and will use quicker shipping method as the deadline to launch approaches.

At least to me that makes a whole lot more sense than them trying to ship their entire stock in one day, then sit on their asses.
 
Looks like the majority you guys ordered the 32g, so I'm hoping my 64g order didn't get back ordered as quickly and I'll get mine on 9/21. Talked to the rep and she said we won't know our confirmed shipping date until they send us the 2nd email with the fedex tracking number.

I ordered through AT&T and I'm Premier FAN.

I ordered yesterday at 6:45a EST. My order went through and my credit card was charged the full amount immediately. I received an email confirmation that said 'as soon as 9/21'. Some people are getting specific date of 9/21????

My order is "Preorder Processing"

I called AT&T today and they said it - across the board we are saying 14-21 days. I said, so are you saying you would tell the 1st person to order at 3:00am the same time. He said 'no', they will get a different answer than you.

Does this mean I'm not getting my phone this Friday? I just want clarity - and an answer. I just want to know if I'm getting my phone this Friday. Ugh, I hate Premier.

i got some hang up thru the premier site with my order and my account and my order was canceled.

had to go into the store to resolve andwas given a 48 hour turn around time...

So look like I will be camping out Thursday nite to friday morning..I was trying to avoid that haha.. Congrats to everyone who had success
 
At 12:15am which is when I could get into the apple online store to add a line to my Family Talk plan, Apple said they could not communicate with my carriers servers and would reserve a phone for me.

That happened about 2am. When I tried at 6am, to processes apples reservation I got the "There's something you should know" error. So I placed my order to add a line from ATT Premier.

My premier ATT status shows "Preorder Processing". I ordered around 6:30 am PDT after the apple reservation failed.

Of course I don't want to get in the back order wave, so I'm thinking of heading to the apple store, which is a little drive from me, to try and secure my reserved phone for the 21st delivery.

All this would be unnecessary if both apple and ATT would be more clear about what is happening with our online orders.

A rep today from AT&T told me that they are using USPS, UPS and Fedex and didn't know how mine would go out, so your theory sounds good!

a caompy will always say an up to date... If you ordered at 6am you will probably not make the 1st round... but honestly you will probably get it the following week.

My option for 1st day is now to go and camp outside of apple lol...

Did you notice on your attachment that the order date says Sept 15 and not the 14th? I have the same date as well. Ordered 6:45am PST 9/14; Premier with the same statuses on both Premier and AT&T's regular site.

Oh..and I have the same phone images as well. If THAT's AT&T's version of the new iphone 5, maybe I should have skipped the upgrade for this year! lol! :D

If I click my email on my iPhone to track the status, it says at the bottom of the page...

Shipping Carrier: Unless you are an employee of UPS, USPS or DHL, your shipment shoud ship via FedEx.

UGH...does that mean we don't get our phones on the 21st....booo. I'm in the same position as you, except I ordered at 6:45. I received one email, but not the final....'congratulations' emails that I hear are circulating.
