Did you order through Premier? Also, does it show anything about which carrier? Or a ship date?
A lot happens overnight. I woke up too a tracking number this morning so hopefully I will get mine friday
yeah you are in the same boat as me. hopefully by tonight or tomorrow morning we will have some more info
Got that email on Saturday but today my info changed to SHIPPED but without Tracking Number and Back-Ordered shows "0"
I got that email after I noticed that my phone was no longer on backorder and it was marked as shipped. I still don't have a carrier or tracking number though.
I ordered mine via the AT&T website, I think my order went through around 8:30 AM. Just checked my status now, says shipped. However I do not have a tracking number yet.
i really hope this is true..i ordered at 9:30 am and still havent gotten a backorder to 0 or an email
paid the ATT store i preordered at and they told me 14-21 days, even when the chat rep said mine would be 21st, ATT needs some serious media backlash with how they have handled this debacle
Sorry guys, just saw these posts. I ordered through Premier, 9/14, 5:00am PST. Backorder changed to 0 sometime around 1:00pm PST today. Still waiting for it to ship, but I'm hopeful.
I think it is safe to say that if your order status says 'pending shipment' and is NOT backordered, you will have your phone Friday. Whether a tracking number shows up or not, it says shipped or not etc.
what is funny is the order status shows ship without tracking but why would they update the status if they are telling me i wont get it oct 4-15 you think the ones that are ship in oct still be in back order
Yes, got the 14-21 day email, back order went to zero Monday and got a tracking number this morning.
Ordered at 8am PST
It would likely be better if they just said you ordered this date and you will receive it this date. instead of this backorder, processing, etc.
I agree with you there.
As well as the "4G" Debacle. Here on Long Island in NY, my iPhone 4s says '4g' and the ATT website shows HSPA+ but with data speeds of .1 mbps down and .05 up.... I think they are lying out the wahoo!

However, going to UPS and doing a search by reference on the phone number shows that there are 2 shipments that match the criteria. I could of swore it was coming FedEx. We'll see.

The "Check status of Order" link in my first order received email still shows I can cancel the order and also shows it as being processed.
When I check the order status from the link where you enter your number, zip code and image letters, I see it is shipped with no carrier or tracking number.
My credit card also still shows pending.
I guess there are more than one server and it takes a while for them to talk to each other.
