We are business acct with AT&T and have premiere acct. Spoke to our rep on Wed before pre-order and requested them to place our pre-order Friday Sept 14 in the a.m. for 4 32gb phones.

Got a confirmation email at 1:50am on Sat. that the orders were placed. Didn't think anything of it til today since we haven't received a shipping conf email.

Just chatted with online premiere rep and the order was placed at 2:20pm 9/14. They said that i would receive either Friday or within 14-21 business days. Which of course means 21 days.

Guess there really isn't a point point of having a business rep. Lesson learned for next time.

Anyone else order this late on 9/14 and actually have a ship conf?

Status: Pending Shipment
Backorder on all phones including LG flip phones.

My original email said:
Your order will arrive on 9/21/12
We’ll send a confirmation email when it’s ready
You can check your order status online anytime
You can check your order status online anytime

Second email said:
We have processed your order and it has been sent to our warehouse for shipment.

I have a suspiscion that people who had number ported have their orders processed later. My order status says date ordered 9/17 and that's also when the pending charges appeared on my CC.
 
i've got a feeling that the person that said 15xxxx and above order numbers aren't getting their phone on friday.

i ordered a 64gb black at 4:15am EST and i still have my backorder as 1 and 'pending shipment'. Not premier.

I'm thinking that the order number links to the credit card transaction going through and even though I had the displayed page 'delivers 9/21' after I placed my order, I'm thinking it's no longer the case. I received my order number hours later - like 3:20 in the afternoon for some reason.

But i'll still hold out hope. Maybe something is up with the 64 gb black.
 
I just got off the phone with AT&T and learned that the fact that my credit card didn't match up with my billing address (preorder website gave no option to change billing address and there was no real-time CC verification) has delayed my 2:30am CST preorder. Original rep incorrectly stated availability would be based on original order date/time.

I've been quoted a shipping date of October 4-15th via USPS (not UPS or FedEx).

A bit annoyed, to say the least. When I asked her "So the shipping info on your site is inaccurate" She simply replied with "I'm sorry, but yes."

Don't believe anything the reps over the phone say...they are just reading off of a script so that you get off the phone quicker. They don't know ANYTHING at all when it comes to where your order is and when you are getting it.

Came off backorder last night, got CSS email this morning
CC charge still pending

Confirmation email said 9/21/12 delivery but chat rep told me it would SHIP 9/21 and I'd get it next week.
 
My status has just changed to shipped (no longer In Process) but still no tracking...hopefully that's coming next! :D
 
I just talked to an online rep. Even though my status says "shipped" today, he said my ship date isn't until Oct. 4th?? Does anyone know what that means? Why would it say shipped on the website but not actually be shipped yet??
 
People who have tracking numbers with FedEx.......which model did you order?

I ordered a 32GB black, and https://www.wireless.att.com/order_status/order_status shows me my tracking number with FedEx.

I ordered a 64GB White and a 64GB Black at 1:53AM PST on 9/14 through the AT&T website. I received a FedEx tracking number late last night for both simultaneously. (Same tracking number for both) The full amount has been pending on my account since the afternoon of 9/14. I also have 2 holds for $1. The first $1 hold hit my account immediately after I placed my order.

I expect FedEx to pick them up tomorrow morning for delivery on Friday. I think the folks with tracking numbers, either UPS or FedEx are probably set.

The only odd thing for me... I have not received a SINGLE e-mail. I called AT&T and they said it was an error on their side on the order with the e-mail not being linked to my order. They said they cannot resend e-mails and cannot "fix the glitch" either. But since I have a tracking number, I am not worried. I did receive a text Friday afternoon and after that was when I checked and the full amount was pending on my account. My order status is still "In Progress"

Thanks for that info. I'm also glad to finally see someone that, like me, never received any emails.
 
Has anyone with a Fedex tracking number actually been able to track their phone using that number? Doesn't seem to be available yet on the Fedex website.

They don't know anything. Try going to a local store and ask them to look.
 
I ordered the 16gb at around 1130-12. I check the att order status site and it tells me it has shipped, no tracking, not able to get tracking from reference, and no money taken out of account...

I have no faith in a friday delivery

Just for clarity: I ordered my 32GB black at around 12:10am PDT on 9/14 through AT&T's regular customer website. I received two emails within 10 minutes, and one of them stated that my iPhone will be delivered on 9/21. I received a text Friday morning congratulating me and telling me that my preorder has been processed. I received the CSS email on Monday. Backordered dropped to zero on Monday as well (I think).

I have a feeling that the tracking numbers will go live at some point tonight/early morning. I am confident that it will arrive on Friday.

I'm in the exact same situation but I'm hoping the money will come out of my account overnight.
 
16GB Black, got a tracking number late last night/early this morning via FedEx. Nothing in the FedEx system yet. CC Hold is gone.
