16gig (white) :apple: iPhone 5 ordered at 5:10am PST via AT&T Premier showing as shipped now via Order Status, but no tracking number. On the premier order status site, still showing as "Preorder Processing".

I'm not going to freak out about it. Your order will ship when it ships, calling/chatting with AT&T and complaining isn't helping the matter. It's been stated many times over, CS reps are very often wrong and have no idea what they're talking about. Every CS chat transcript posted seems to result in nothing useful considering nobody even trusts what they have to say. Stop flipping out over a phone :eek: it's getting sad.

Whenever I call in it actually does something and I see more movement on the status than if I didn't call in.
 
Gentlemen, the iPhone 5 that I ordered for my brother on AT&T is showing "Processing", but I do have a tracking number now. When I click on the tracking number, Fedex says that it doesn't exist in their records yet. I'm guessing they're starting to update some people's orders now.

By the way, I ordered around 6 AM Central Time on Friday.
 
I ordered my White 32 GB at 12:02 AM PT on Friday, order number starting with 1306. Since then nothing has changed other than AT&T charging my card and then taking off the charge. The order continues to show as "Processing". I called AT&T this afternoon. After the typical rigamarole I was told that the phone would SHIP ON 9/21. I replied that I have the confirmation that shows that I should RECEIVE the phone on 9/21. Then the phone support person said that I would, in fact, receive the phone on Friday. I asked for a tracking number or something to confirm that. They couldn't give me one and asked me to keep checking the website. I was also told that I would get my phone via USPS, not UPS or FedEx, which I found unusual.

I have this exact same situation and they told me the phone will be shipped via USPS
 
My ups now says its been updated and it will be delivered tomorrow by the end of the day! Maybe they have too many to deliver. Probably a mistake but fingers crossed.

I think that is in your head. I am pretty sure they're in chaos mode right now trying to ship orders. First come first serve, if you cared that much you would have ordered right when the sites went live, just saying.
 
My Order number starts with a 1010. I ordered at 6:20 EST. 32 GB Black Through Premier. Order status shows processing. 1 on backorder. I hope that I get a 21st. The only email I have received thus far is the confirmation email that said as soon as the 21st. No other changes. Cross fingers.

-Ordered from AT&T the first hour they went on sale
-Current shipment status: "In Progress"
-Gave me a Fedex tracking number but there is no information available yet on that number
 
To the people seeing "shipped" on their order status, did you get an email confirmation of your shipment?

nope, but no tracking yet either. My order was through premier but their status page doesn't show anything but "Preorder processing".

That is normal, the FEDEX label is probably printed and on the box, but it has yet to be tendered to them. :)

Just to let some of you guys know, I ordered on the regular site on the 14th around 11amET and my order has shipped so it seems that before 9am thing could be wrong

So I ordered 7a CT from ATT Premier site, and have been following this thread for last 100 pages. I ordered iPhone 5 black 64gb, and immediately got the first email confirming the order. Second email (reconfirming) came yesterday night.

Everybody is getting terms and conditions email, but I never got that one. I got off backorder earlier this afternoon, but still don't have any tracking info. Anybody in similar boat as me?

My first 4# of orders are 1101. Even though I ordered 09/14 at 7CT, it shows at 9/15.

I hope AT&T service rep has an inside thing going where for every time someone calls in to bitch/moan, they get their order moved further back. Would be pure, sweet, sweet karma.

11am ET = 8am PST which is still before 9am. Sigh. I swear more than half of the people on here don't know how to tell time.

I only got one email that came six hours after I ordered, but never got the terms and conditions email... one of the reps told me they overrode it... doesnt really make sense
