Am I the ONLY one who is getting it via UPS?????

I can't get any tracking info from UPS yet...just says being delivered to my city and that a label was printed and expected to ship today/deliver tomorrow.

I can't wait to wake up tomorrow and see the words..... "out for delivery"

You will get your phone tomorrow. I ordered mine at 12pm from the business site and got the 14-21 days bs but it has shipped via defer already.

Oredered mine at 6:00am, friday morning but my e-mail says 9, is anyone with order number starting 1711327976XX shipped yet?
 
Ordered 7am on September 14.

Just woke up and got a tracking number, with delivery for tomorrow via FedEx! Woo hoo! :D

Order is coming from Fort Worth, TX and is currently in Memphis, TN.
 
Woke up at 4 AM (Eastern) this morning and looked at my phone to see if there was any updated info and it finally said it shipped and is scheduled for delivery by 3:00 PM on 9/21 :D

I ordered on the 14th at 7:00 AM (Eastern) via Premier. 16GB Black coming. This may be the last 16GB iPhone I order. I've done a good job managing media to not have any problems with storage but as the games / applications get bigger and better, I can see needing the extra storage just for them. I'll worry about that next year.

Yeah it shows on on my ATT account as shipped. Qty Ordered and Qty Shipped both "1". Shows the carrier as Fedex and the tracking number beside says it's in my city and will be delivered tomorrow by 3PM.
 
Mine is coming UPS, which is weird

Status says "shipped" this morning. FINALLY!

But the UPS thing is weird. They've used FedEx in the past. :confused:

Delivery by the end of residential deliveries tomorrow. Based on prior experience with UPS, that could be 10 p.m.

(I'm in southeastern Virginia.)
 
I received my order confirmation email (starts with 1406) at 2:11a on 9/14, the order processed email at 11:30a on 9/14 and the CSS email on 9/17 at 3:56pm. My credit card was authorized on 9/15 and then charged fully yesterday. This is my status.

Womp womp ... :(

"A fine mess you've gotten us into, Stanley..."

This has been the most ENTERTAINING forum thread I've ever had the pleasure of reading across multiple days! I've learned a great deal however and appreciate everyone's input. :D

First up: this will be my very first iPhone. Excited! This pre-order business however has left a metallic taste in my mouth. Yuck!

It's clear I didn't make the 'cutoff time' since I ordered around 11:25AM CST on 9/14. Bummed; had hoped I'd made it. This aside, AT&T has proven a total headache with non-answers (as you all know). My order reads I'm backordered; CSR states otherwise. Hmm; okay. I'll assume no 9/21 delivery for me either way. When asked if they could provide some clue upon expectation of shipment, I get the usual '5 to 21 business days.' So I'm wondering: will Apple have weekly shipments of iPhones arriving from China? And, why would the carriers have no idea? Surely they must communicate with Apple?

I'm beginning to feel like a whore in church on Sunday whose presence isn't wanted. :(

The MyChoice accounts are cheap and it is easily worth it if you do as much online shopping as me. I do about 90% of my shopping online and I like coming home with stuff like huge laundry detergent containers from Walmart sitting right at my front door.
 
Mine was "shipped" now it shows "NA", not sure WTF that means but I think it's safe to say that anyone without a tracking number isn't receiving a phone tomorrow. I wouldn't worry if your tracking number isn't showing up in the FedEx/UPS tracking system, it will be end of the day.

Looks like we are in the same boat.

I received my order confirmation email (starts with 1612) at 6:38a CST on 9/14, the order processed sms at 12:30PM on 9/14 and the CSS email on 9/14 at 5:56pm. My credit card was authorized on 9/14
 
Statement Credit

1612 order number here from 6:16 AM CDT. Still listed as back-ordered for 1x32 GB WHT and 1x32 GB BLK (non-premier).

I chatted with a representative today for the third time. The first one 3 days ago told me a supervisor would call me back...never happened. The second one yesterday told me that as long as I ordered by 11:30 AM, I would get the phone tomorrow and that my order status would update on the website yesterday...never happened. The third one today told me it would ship in October and that they were processing in FIFO. when I told her that this was simply not true based on the 190+ pages of forum reports, I was told that it didn't matter because this was not an official company website.

Finally, I asked again to speak to a supervisor and was actually connected to one. After explaining that I could live without my phone tomorrow but did not want to be affiliated with a company for another two years who did not value its customers and who has lied to me on at least three occasions now, she processed me a statement credit for $150 dollars.

That's all I wanted. Some accountability for the misinformation. I'm happy now (well, I'll be happier when I get the damned phone...)

If you were actually charged, and by charged I mean not a pending charge for the full amount, then don't trust the ATT status system. ATT doesn't charge until they ship. My has shipped and my pending charge is still listed but it has yet to convert to an actual charge.

Also I ordered the same phone as you @ 5am set. You seem to have ordered well before me so, again, I'd keep hope alive. If H'wood wanted to do a TV show about ATT they could model it after Hogans Heroes.

Mine is still showing backordered as of this morning! I am starting to get worried that it will not show up even my order number is 140XXXXXX.
I am hoping that since I live close to a major airport that it is just being one of the last ones shipped... Still worried!
