If you have a tracking number your phones coming. The label is not activated until the driver scans it for pickup.

You're not, I ordered at 11:57 pm Pacific time and I'm still on backorder I had CC problems and got them solved but four CSRs assured me I wouldn't lose my place.

I ordered 2 phones at 3:08 am eastern time. I have still not received tracking info and it still says back ordered. I called CS a few time and they continue to assure me I will get them tomorrow. It just seems odd so many have tracking numbers that ordered HOURS after I did. Hmm not sure I will be setting an alarm next time to get up in the middle of the night on a work night.

Now just praying the UPS guy doesn't f-up like he's done twice in the past 2 months.

1. delivered to correct street number on the wrong street (resident brought it over after mistakenly opening it)
2. marked it as delivered but it didnt show up until the next day

Usually a driver will make one pickup at "end of day". Although due to this launch being so large, they may be making multiple pickups. I used to work in a shipping warehouse and this is how it works. As soon as your box gets scanned the label activates and it gets put into the truck. The tracking should work this afternoon if not tonight.

Mine was ordered by 7:15AM on Friday and the ATT rep says it won't ship until the 10/4 - 10/15 timeline.

What the hell was the point of getting up early to order the damn thing if I'll have to wait weeks to get it... Bummed... But it's only a phone... And I've only been with AT&T since 2007. Guess I don't rate...

ATT definitely isn't doing on a first come first serve basis. People were saying that they will ship today and we'll get them tomorrow and other people were saying that they got their Iphone 4 or 4s delivered and the system still said backordered. I hope we all get our phones tomorrow but if not then all we can do is wait.

In the order status progression, does 'Processing' come before or after 'Backordered'? I ordered on 9/17 so I assume I am in for a long wait?

Ordered thru att premier 09-14-12 at 6:30a.m. Central time and it's being shipped Fed Ex with a delivery time of tomorrow by 3p.m. 64GB Black by the way.

Mine starts with those exact numbers and my phone is sitting literally 10 miles away at the UPS hub waiting to be loaded onto a UPS delivery truck for me to have tomorrow. It was flown here from Memphis last night.

I wouldn't worry. I have read a couple of posts on here that when they preordered the 4s, they weren't even billed until 2 weeks after they had the phone.

Now it's back to backordered. In looking at the "one that worked" it was a different order number, and a 16GB not a 32GB. Back to stressing?
