sounds like 1406 is a crappy group to be stuck in. but maybe, just maybe it means our phones are all together somewhere waiting to be scanned and shipped. maybe? hopefully? dear god please? :)

Like I said. This is exactly like Summer 2010 when iPhone 4 came out. I drove myself crazy and told myself never again with AT&T, but I got my phone anyway

Not to mention my email explicitly states it will arrive 9/21. If it does not come, I'm raising hell :)

I feel bad for some of the guys who ordered before me and have to wait longer. I ordered on September 15th at 5:30 pm est and my iPhone is en route for delivery tomorrow. Hope you guys get yours too.

I ordered at 5am pst and I'm getting it tomorrow. Sucks for those who stayed up to order. Not fair but what can you do

I'm in the same boat, but my charge is still pending. This might vary bank to bank, but it's leaving some hope! I'm a 1406, received the initial "youll receive on the 21st" email, then a text/email combo saying my order is processed and now I haven't heard anything. I see nothing about backorder, just 'processing'
 
Crap...forgot about activation. I used my MIL's upgrade, so I need AT&T to switch it over. This should be fun. Let's see how bad they screw this up!

-received a congratulations sms saying the preorder has been processed at 3:12pm on 9/14
-no emails at all

still stuck on In Progress / QTY Back ordered 1 / Pending Shipment

called ATT a few times, livechat a few times, they have no idea whats going on and cannot really do much other than verify your order is in progress and there are no red flags.

staying optimistic for tomorrow as everyone in the same/similar boat should be doing as well. good luck guys.

I was told by AT&T that all you need to do is activate online and use YOUR phone number, not your MIL's......that's my plan for tomorrow, I used my wife's upgrade. I called AT&T on the 13th just to confirm......
 
How many people nation wide do you think will be driving around tomorrow looking for packages on people's doorsteps? Probably a bunch...

i ordered mine over the phone at like 10am EST 9/14 (ATT BLK 32GB) and i was told it would be here friday, my order number is 90410XXXXXXXXX... on the main account orderstatus it says Processing, and other other site it says in progress but Back ordered is still at 1 and says pending shipment... im now losing hope to see it tmw, but then again, u cant be sure of anything based on anything ATT says
 
Nano Sim

Called local ATT store. I was informed I couldn't pick up a nano sim today, they don't have any. They will "have" them tomorrow.
 
I ordered at 9:40am EST from my work laptop. Never got a first confirmation email but got a second which said my order had been processed and was being sent to warehouse to shipping. I'm an 1810 order number....pretty sure I'm just ****ed although when I talked to FedEx they said if your phone is somewhere on east coast like in NYC it can still leave their facility tonight by 8pm and be at my door tomorrow (live in WV) so at least there's some hope.

When my hubby used my upgrade last year...it took best buy 20 to switch it to his phone number. I like your way better!
