Ok i am confused because now when i use this link:

https://www.wireless.att.com/order_status

It says my iphone is pending shipment, but when i login to the actual att.com website it says it has not shipped and is still processing??? I am confused.

Also when i tried to accept the T&C through the link you guys provided it says there it says this:

"The credentials provided were unable to return an order requiring Terms and Conditions acceptance. Either the Acceptance of Terms and Conditions has already been submitted or the data entered does not match the order exactly. Please ensure your email address, phone number, and ZIP code all match the information provided in your order email. Terms and Conditions recently accepted may take 1 full business day to complete processing prior to any final order review. You will receive a follow-up email once your device has shipped."

So i can't accept the T&C see yet i guess??? :confused:
 
I guess I wasn't calling Premier then, as I did eventually get someone. She was just useless. :)

I called the number displayed on my order status page:

Status: Pending
Unable to verify credit card number. Please call 1-866-499-8008 Monday-Friday 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. Saturday 8:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. or Sunday 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. ET.*

On hold hell with them again right now. I did check my Amex statement, and saw that there was a $1.00 pending charge from AT&T Mobility as of today (9/15). They obviously were able to put that charge through, not sure why they wouldn't be able to charge the rest. Hopefully I'll get an answer soon.

I may need the new phone even sooner, if I throw my 4S against the wall when this hold music finally drives me insane......... :eek:
 
That's ridiculous, so whoever got TC email first, ended up get the phone first. I saw lots of people ordered phone midnight but have not gotten any second email, but some order after already got the TC email

I know. I'm checking with a second agent now. I also tried to go to the link to resend the T&C (as this rep suggested) but got an error. I'll update once I finish with him.

I kind of feel bad for them! It's not the reps' fault their ordering system sucks.
 
If you ordered through the Premier site the "terms and conditions" we're included as part of the transaction. You will not receive a separate email like the guys who ordered on the regular site or through customer service.

On mine it shows Pending Shipment under the Tracking info as though saying the Tracking info is pending shipment. The actual status is "In Progress" which I assume is the same as Processing. When I click the In Progress link it tells me that the next step is Shipped. It does not say what steps are before In Progress. I guess everyone is In Progress?

Not sure if this is the same as yours but this is what mine is. Not sure about the Terms and Conditions though...
 
I know this may vary but if I want to preorder another iPhone through AT&T's site right, when can I expect it to be delivered roughly?

Are you sure that is correct? Cause i have always had a Premier account. And have ordered phones before online. And they have always told me that i had to either call from my cell phone to accept the T&C, or call a toll free number to do it, in order to accept it.
 
I just talked to ATT rep

She said if you pre ordered the phone at the local store, you would actually went through all the terms and conditions already, that you needed to sign, so you will not get any TC email. The next email you will get is the confirmation email that the ordered is already processed.
 
Order Status

This is what my order status says, from two of AT&T's order status sites

PS: When I went to fill out the T&C Form, it says that I have already filled it out, or my info is wrong. My info is not wrong. Do you think I accepted it somehow because I ordered it in a store?

I have not received the terms and conditions to agree to the new contract. I know you can call a toll free number and do it that way. Does anyone have that toll free T&C number to call?




I assume a T&C is only necessary if you're a new customer? I don't see why people who are renewing have to accept it because I didn't get one either (I'm renewing).

I did the live chat for order status. sorry for the confusion. When I ordered at the website, i was in premier acc. However, when it got canceled, i went to the store and my order was placed as the regular acc.

Not really. I have had to do it on renewals. At one point i renewed one of my lines and was wondering why my phone did not work. And when i went to AT&T they said that i had not accepted the T&C yet. As soon as i did that, it let me use the phone.

When i went to the AT&T order status site my screen looks exactly like yours with it saying pending shipment. And when i tried the T&C form i got the same message, so i dunno.

I think TC is necessary because you need to start your new 2-year contract with them, but i'm not sure though.

Me: I guess I'm just trying to figure out if my order was processed in time to ship out on the 21st, or if it has been pushed back. When I ordered the website said "Delivery on the 21st", but since my card wasn't charged till overnight, I'm not sure what to go by.

Kyle Hewitt : If it took 24 hours I don't think you will be pushed back far, Many of the purchases were made in the first 15 mins of the sale and they are probably going to receive theirs before anyone else. If your order is processing you are all set.

Me: So it goes off the time my card was charged, not the time I actually placed the order?

Kyle Hewitt : I am also going to make a good guess that everyone who ordered after the first hour are going to receive theirs at the same time as people who ordered after the first few days of the sale.

Kyle Hewitt : It goes by whenever you accept the terms and conditions.

Me: LOL - so it's either get in at the first hour, or wait? That's fair, I guess. :)

This sums up ATT CS support perfectly... all they can do is guess and suppose. This isn't to be critical of them, they just are not privy to any shipping status info other than what we see on our own screens. Don't take their word on anything regarding ship times.

I just finished a chat with AT&T. I ordered at 8:30 a.m. EST and my delivery date is between 10/4 and 10/15.

Livid.

My credit card was charged, my order is processing...

likewise. They did tell me that it depends on how many devices they receive and it could come before then but didnt exactly sound really committed to that. they said that they received hundreds of thousands of orders and other BS

Me: I thought the cutoff was 12 p.m. EST on 14th for launch day orders?

BUT I ordered before 9 AM Pacific time, so it's clearly not the case.

Bottom line, it will ship when it ships. :confused:
