ATT iPhone 5 Pre-order thread

When it says delivered by, let's say, 2:00PM, does it mean it will arrive at 2:00PM does that mean the earlier/latest it will arrive?
 
here's a crazy question. Since mine is in fort worth headed to my home (in transit) figured I'd ask it, Has anyone received their iPhone 5 yet?
 
All hope is lost for my iPhone 5 to arrive... Still on backorder, after being one of the first in preordering (3:05 am) :(
 
Do you think for those of us that order later and got the 14-21 message that is could change after the release tomorrow. I know the store will sell out, but maybe they just needed to wait and see how many they sell before they could send us phones?

Walked into my AT&T store after work. The guy told me if you ordered after Apple's site went down at like 3am EST or so, you won't be getting one tomorrow. I guess at that time they started pushing orders back 14-21 days even though the AT&T site was still saying a delivery of 9/14. I then asked how in the hell you can explain to a million people who are ordering their phones on the notion that it is in their hands on 9/21 that it won't be there when it says, and he just said the at&t site was slow to update. Obviously not what I wanted to hear, but at this point with no tracking number, no pending charge and still back-ordered I think I've lost all hope. I ordered at 940am EST by the way 32 gb black. He also said if I were to cancel I can't get my upgrade back which makes no freakin sense to me at all

I ordered at 10:20am EST two 16gb black/slate, I got my tracking information from fedex and my iphone is arriving tomorrow before 3pm.

I'm convinced if your still on back order at this point you're not getting a phone for at least another 2 weeks. I'll just have to wait it out. It will be the longest 2 weeks of my life.

Not everybody that ordered after 3am.. just those that ordered while Apple's site was down for a brief period of time after 3am.

Basically means if you ordered really early you got screwed.
 
GUYS DONT LOSE HOPE!!!! I JSUT SAID THAT ORDER STATUE WEB IS UPDATING THIS TIME. MAY BE IT IS OUR LAST CHANCE TO GET OUR IPHONE 5 TOMORROW. JUST PRAY GUYS!! PRAY FOR ATT NOT SUCK THAT WAY:apple::apple::apple::apple:

Not the case either apparently...

I ordered a 32 white for my sister in law on SATURDAY 9/15 and it has shipped already. I have the tracking number and everything.

Seems like they are filling orders at random!
 
Well the FedEx place is like a minute away from my house and they won't give it to me until tomorrow. It really sucks knowing its there right now, and I can't have it. It's MINE and I can't have it... The suspense is killing me
 
Anyone know how to notify macrumors Engadget and gizmodo about this? We need to get the word out and warn people not to order from AT&T in the future.

I placed three orders at 3:10, all of them are on backorder. Ironically, I ordered a fourth iphone 5 over the phone at 9:15 and for that one I have a working tracking number and should be on my home tomorrow by 5!
