ATT iPhone 5 Pre-order thread

When did you get the tracking, my order "went in" on 9/15 at 4 pm est when t&c was accepted for white 32 & 16gb

It really is odd at the randomness of these orders. I honestly wonder if everyone that ordered before 7 a.m. ET from AT&T will receive their iPhone and AT&T's systems are just too busy to update and send tracking numbers.

Or I wonder if we'll receive a tracking number in the middle of the night tonight.

I ordered at 5 a.m. MT on the 14th and my credit card is still pending the charge. My order status hasn't changed and still says processing.

Only time will tell

This is my first time ordering from AT&T. I lined up for the first iPhone and the 3G I believe and pre-ordered every other revision online from Apple.com.

I definitely won't be going with AT&T next year, I'm getting my phone tomorrow but it's just not as good as an experience when not buying direct from Apple.

Always possible you'll receive your phone before you get a tracking number! It's happened before
 
Just spoke to AT&T. Apparently regardless of your order time, they had to backorder about half of all iphone orders. Mine was included in that backorder. They told me to expect delivery on 10/4/12. I went ahead and cancelled my order.

AT&T Is a joke.

I did. Posted a few pages back. Tried AT&T order tracking under diff number on family plan and it shows mine shipped by FedEx. Went from ups tracking label Made all week to shipped FedEx delivery tomorrow.

That means the LATEST that you will get it is 2PM. My FedEx says by 3PM Guaranteed but we normally get deliveries around 11AM. I'm expecting tomorrow to be a bit of a delay because of the mass amount of orders and our FedEx guy making more stops than usual.

There's probably a good chance we wont get it tomorrow, but I feel like the 2 weeks thing is just a way to make us happier when it ships sooner than that. Although I could be wrong.

I know I've read multiple people that ordered after 9 am pacific that have had their status updated to shipped. Like everyone else has said ATT just isn't giving any concrete info and are just giving out cookie cutter information. Just wanted to post my info for what ever its worth.

Why are people getting mad at AT&T for running out of phones? It was first come first serve. I understand if you ordered within the time frame why you would be mad, but if you ordered after the ran out, that is just too bad. I'm not trying to be mean in any way, its just how it is. Deal with it

I'm done with hope. I'm done with AT&T. They're dead to me.

Screw ups with this number of orders is one thing. Lying or playing "stupid" about it is entirely another. Just give it to me straight so I can make decisions on my end...I'm a big boy and can take it.

They're lack of professionalism in this launch is dumbfounded.

I'm slightly angry because I ordered at 12:45 AM, but not enough for it to ruin my day lol.

S*** happens unfortunately.

Anyway I just talked to CS and they said there isn't a delay notice on it or anything so it might still go through later today.
