It's not that they ran out of phones that creates the anger. More to the point, it's their lack of forthcoming when honest questions warranted honest answers. Stop saying you're 'not trying to be mean' when it's painfully evident by your less than subtle dig that you are. People do have a right to be presented with clear, concise information so as to make choices that are right for them. Many would have opted to wait it out at an Apple Store, for example, or simply not order the new phone at all at this time. AT&T LIED about what they could deliver when they knew they couldn't.![]()
Wholeheartedly agree. The lies need to stop. They have the information right there in the database. This "estimated ship date" extension crap should be listed on the order status page. If they know it...it should be on that page, instead of stringing me along for a week via phone.
