Speaking of Trojan's they should be free at AT&T because a lot of us are getting screwed!
Haha. So true!!

This happens every year. Same exact posts talking about the same exact issues. Yet people come back to order more phones from AT&T. These systems were not designed for the obsessive compulsive.
Look, the reps are telling us one thing, and the website is saying another. It's really that simple. On top of that, different reps are saying conflicting statements. It's not that hard to send out a company memo/email to let reps know what's going on so they can properly relay information to customers. Maybe an internal blog? ...this is 2012 AT&T.
For the record, this is my first order from AT&T...ever. Always went through Apple and fared the lines. Should have done it this year. Didn't realize how disorganized it was.

Unfortunately, the length of the contact area on the StraightTalk/Net10 SIM's is larger that the entire length of a nano SIM. This means you'd have to trim off part of the contact area on a StraightTalk/Net10 SIM (not just the plastic area) which might ruin the SIM entirely. Even if the SIM wasn't ruined, you'd risk having the edges of the trimmed area come into contact with the metal SIM tray of the iPhone 5.
Undoubtedly someone will try it through.
SIM's from many of the other MVNO's don't suffer from this problem... the contact areas are smaller than the overall size of the nano SIM.

Good to know. Appreciate the info...was seriously considering this.
