ATT iPhone 5 Pre-order thread

This morning it was still in that state when I got up around 7:15a but has just now populated with a tracking number for Fedex and Monday delivery.

My confirmation email quoted 14-21 days. Maybe I'm getting old but I'm happy enough with it. :)

I can live with that! Ours went off back-order in the middle of the night but no tracking info just yet.

Went to the store at 8:45. There were only three people in line. Ended up with a black 32GB. They canceled my other order since it was still in pending and not shipped.

Sorry to those who did not get theirs, but I am off to go play and set it up. :)

Let me know when your status changes mine arrived at the exact same hour at Carolina and its sitting there, what's your estimated delivery time?

Did you receive any e-mail confirmations regarding the status changes?
 
Yesterday I was checking the status of my 32 gb white in-store preorder and at some point around 9-10 pm it came off of backorder, not shipped. Was fairly happy, went to bed around midnight. Woke up this morning and at 1:47 AM AT&T emailed the tracking # for my wife's 16 gb white model. Standard over night shipping with an estimated delivery of Monday, so far no tracking number for my 32 gb yet. At least we should both get our phones next week which is MUCH better than mid October. lol

Never preordering in-store again.
 
Just got my tracking number and it says picked up.... But it says expected delivery September 24th.... I thought they overnighted ?
 
Sorry if this is off-topic. For those who were forced into a new data/text plan when they did their pre-order (like losing the $5 for 200 texts for the new $10 for 1000), what is the proper procedure for calling to keep the original plans? Do it when I have the phone in hand? Thanks!!

An update email was received at 9:34a ET today containing the tracking number and activation instructions - I had checked the website at 9:22a or so but do not know precisely when it was actually populated other than it was before that. :)

Did they give you your early upgrade for the phone you bought in the store instead of the pre order or did you pay full price? If they're honoring early upgraded in store and allow me to cancel ill just head there.
 
Lol.. anybody received email from AT&T saying Your iPhone is here! and I don't see anything in that email :p Funny thing is, my iPhone is still on FedEx vehicle for delivery! :D

When did you guys pre ordered? Coño, I reserved on the 14th at 3:00am STILL ON BACKORDERED. QUE COSA CABR*NA
 
anyone else that was eligible for early upgrade (+$250) try canceling their order and going to ATT store? I'm still back ordered but the ATT store down the street has them in stock.

I just dont want to lose my early upgrade eligibility if I cancel.
 
I ordered 9/14 at 10:30CDT and it's backordered. I decided to just go to the AT&T store in Kildeer, IL. 15 minutes ago there were 14 ahead of me. The lady in front of me said the Apple store in Kildeer has a 50+ line. This store is out of 32GB but they have the others.
 
Another day, still back-ordered. Likely won't be getting it for weeks and ordered before a good bit of people who have theirs right now.

**** you AT&T.
 
I've preordered mines with Sprint and now that AT&T released LTE in our area (Honolulu, HI) What's the chances of me going to an AT&T store and picking up an iPhone 5?
