Getting your iPhone is far more important that giving your time - FOR FREE, no less - selflessly.
I'm refreshing the FedEx delivery page every minute. It's common for deliveries, mail, phone-ordered escorts, etc. to go the building next to mine by mistake.

I posted yesterday about my order (starting with 1711) was processing shipping. I just got off the phone with AT&T and the phone is on its way.The customer rep couldn't see why I never received an e-mail or way the status on my order pages was not updated. Crazy, but I am much happier now.

I ordered mine at 6:45AM CST from the AT&T website and immediate got a confirmation email saying my order "will arrive on 9/21/2012" and not another peep from them after that. No clauses saying anything other than that... Just outright today and my shipment is still being processed.
I am supposed to be shipping my iphone 4 out to someone today! Thats the only thing that makes me angry. Had I known I would have made other arrangements.

Good news is I beat the FedEx dude home. Bad news is, waiting. Mine is a squirrelly one. Doesn't ring a doorbell and I don't think I ever heard him knock. He just drives up gets out to make it look good and scurries away as fast as possible.
Probably a stupid question, what's stopping you from purchasing a iPhone 5 at full price, wait for your other to ship and than unlock one of them and sell it on ebay for probably the same price you paid for both of them combined?

Please be careful. Fed Ex just rung my doorbell dropped the box and drove away before I even opened the door. Apparently signature is not required. So if your not there your couple hundred dollar phone will just sit there blowing in the wind.

My big concern is that my building is 1135 and the one next door is 1125 which is why there are so many incorrect deliveries.

Just checked with AT&T and they told me that my order was going to ship out in 14-21 days from today. They were unable to cancel my order because "someone was updating it" and I had to call back in an hour before they could do anything. Ordered at 1:00 am pst on the 14th and in the 1504 order group.
Just got mine, and it looks better than the pictures I've seen!!!
It's a shame you have to put a case on it. Unless you don't. Just don't drop it, you may not get a new one till next year.

Was just at my local ATT store, and they still had phones available. I asked to cancel my preorder and was told they could not do that because it had already been charged. I disputed that and told her no charge has ever come across my account, and my phone is marked as backordered. "Nothing we can do".

Very similar. About the same time. I'm losing money by the day with this. Resale value is plummeting on the 4s.
