ATT iPhone 5 Pre-order thread

Has anyone got a credit out of ATT for this mishap? I'm debating calling them.
Did you read best buy's response to delays on the front page of macrumors? They really laid out that they are trying everything in their power to get people their phones. ATT doesn't even have the class to send an apology letter.

It's here! UPS no signature required
The UPS man knocked on my door and was in the process of getting back in the truck when I opened. He drove down my street a few more times.. they are busy no joke!
In case this helps anyone...I ordered mine from ATT.com on 9/14 at 9:30am EST and no problems with my order.. (i.e. received confirmation emails, texts within 20 mins of ordering). However, there was no shipping notice from ATT until late last night. I just got a text message saying my phone has shipped eventhough it's been here for over an hour. I hope everyone gets their phones soon!
I did have a pending charge for the phone all week, however it was gone a couple of days ago and the money is still in my account.. weird

OK, I need some help with ATT. As a Norwegian going to the US in one week. I'm wondering:
edit: ATT is the only one I can actually use here in Norway with the carriers here and the GSM network.
- Whats my odds of finding a ATT store with a actual iPhone in stock on the 1st of October?
- Can i buy it with no commitment? Does that equal unlocked? I see iModZone sell a unlock, they claim is permanent.

Same with me. I was panicking before because I never received this text everyone is talking about. I just received the text and I've had my phone for 2 hours now. Go figure!
I just told them that in the store I was promised delivery today, received no communication on any status, and am now being told mid-october. All truths.
They initially offered me a $25 credit, but I told them that this is a huge hassle for me because I'm going to be out of town mid-october, and they then offered $100

Nothing against "rainbow flag fans" but why single yourself out. That would be like a mexican or asian asking for mexicans or asians to send pics of their new iphone 5's.

I first asked the status of my Preorder and then I kindly ask for credit towards my account from being ******* from left to right with lies and so he did and claims I may still get it on Oct. 15 even though my email says 21st
Me too. I'm expecting no delivery today. But I also expect a tracking to come in some time tonight for a Saturday (depending on method) or Monday delivery.
Would have really enjoyed having it for the weekend though.
