As for network settings, you need to go to settings->reset network settings to get the phone to recognize the 4G/LTE.

I just placed the order for my iPhone 5 (16GB white) with AT&T today. When can I expect to receive it?
I wish it was that easy for me to cancel being the fact that I went on a goose chase from left to right from NJ to NY from AT&T to Apple and for them to tell me its sold out

How long did your activations take? I activated mine through the link in the e-mail where I had to put in my IMEI and ICCID numbers. They said I will receive a confirmation e-mail and test with a phone call but I haven't received anything yet. Its been about 30 minutes give or take. iPhone 5 shows no service and its currently connected to iTunes.
6:10 PM EST on Friday, September 14. Called my local store and ordered over the phone with a representative. My order number is totally different from everything else I've seen here so I have no idea which part to provide.
Me too. I'm expecting no delivery today. But I also expect a tracking to come in some time tonight for a Saturday (depending on method) or Monday delivery.
Would have really enjoyed having it for the weekend though.

Not sure if this is a joke or serious so I will treat it as serious. This is a general set of instructions for most phones. This does not apply to the iPhone. The SIM Card on the iPhone is accessible via a drawer on the side of the device.
FedEx just extended the estimated delivery time to 8:00 tonight on my phone which is why I chose UPS at checkout in the first place. The UPS delivery driver came by the usual time this morning, dropped off a package to a neighbor a few houses away from me, but didn't seem like he was busy or in a rush. at&t is a joke.

Received email confirmation instantly 'confirming a 9/21 delivery date' along with a snippet about 'first come, first serve'.
Week later, no updates. Order 14069XXXX In progress, QTY: 1 Backordered

I will never order through AT&T again, but I will say I only did so because the Apple.com store was unavailable until at least 12:20AM that morning.
Called ATT CC, talked to a 'supervisor' in FL, was told because of the status of my order I could not cancel. I made it very clear the store in Los Gatos had plenty for me to go in now, and it would be a problem if my phone wasn't going to come until October. Near the end, she tried to sell me on UVERSE. She was nice, but not very helpful.
First world problems I know....but seriously AT&T, get it together.

did anyone have any issues with the terms and conditions. Went to the ATT store to do a cross upgrade and spent an hour and 45 minutes on the phone with their customer service at the ATT store trying to resolve the issue. completely frustrating. But the Iphone is working now!
hey guys if you live in Denver, the apple store at park meadows has a lot of iPhones 5, I just walk in there and got a 32 Gbwhite with AT&T. no 14 day waiting time
