It's incredible that ATT can get away with this!
I called ATT on the 14th at 1am since their website was down. I was told I could call back at 7am and I'd still get it on the 21st (Today). The rep that helped me, Vanessa, was soooo sure of this- that she even promised to call me back later in the day to confirm that my order was being processed.
Well.....I called ATT at 730am on 9/14. I got connected at about 8am. The guy took my money and told me flat out "Expect your phone delivered on 9/21, in the morning because you called early enough"!! OKAY!!!
Then, once I accepted the terms via email, I got a call from VAnessa, the original rep!! She said she saw my order, she said she could see that I'd be getting the phone on Fri (9/21) and she wanted to make sure I was satisfied!
And what happens today?>.......NOTHING!! NO IPHONE 5!! What the hell was the point of "Pre ORdering" if people simply walked into stores today and bought them!! and I didnt get mine!!
NOw I"m being told that it will ship 14-21 Days, (10/4-10/15)...WHAT???
I tried maintaining my cool with the supervisor on the phone and it did get me $100 off my current bill for the trouble, but I would give the $100 back if I could have my phone today!!
I was guaranteed that I'd have it today. They called me back to confirm it was being processed!! And still no phone. Apple should do something! This is f'd up! I want what I paid for and I want it when it was promised! What the hell is wrong with that??
