My EXTP Numbers begin with EXTP889981**** and EXTP889980****. My order dates say 9/14 though. How about everyone else?

Yes, I had an order starting w/ "X" (store order, 11am EST 9/14, 16 gb white) and went off backorder ~8pm last eve, shipping info updated 2 hrs. later and now FedEx # shows phone is going to deliver on Monday.

Anyone that pre-ordered in-store and has an order number starting with X get shipping information yet?

I pre-ordered in-store at 9AM CST and my order number starts with XK. My backorder switched from 1 to 0 yesterday afternoon, but on shipping info yet. Still says "Pending Shipment."

I have the exact beginning digits in my order # as well. Are you on an enterprise corporate plan? I ordered by phone at 10:45 AM Eastern on the 14th. Still backorder 1 for my White 32GB.

Since I'm using my companies FAN number for a discount, I'm considered a Small Business account. At least that's what it says when I call 611.

I ordered at 7:59am and 8:03am PST.

Still waiting for mine, I don't understand how I have the same order number as someone who ordered Saturday? Mine is still Pending Shipment and Backordered.

Does ATT even update their systems over the weekends? If not, then there is no point in even checking the backorder status
 
Hey guys, I am new to this forum, and to iPhones in general actually (switched from android for the 5). I stumbled on this while trying to find out more about iPhones. I know that many of you are in the same situation as me, and I tried to look through as many pages of posts as I could, but I was wondering if someone could give me a little insight.

I ordered my white 32gb iPhone on the 14th around noon EST. I ordered it in the store, and the representative told me I could expect it on the 21st. I am a new AT&T customer, and not a "Premier" customer. I recieved one email a few hours after placing my order with the title "Your recent AT&T order status" with basic info and the link to att.com/orderstatus as well as my order transaction number and stuff. Reading through this forum, I see that many people can see when theirs is backordered and such, but I get no such information on mine. It only says processing. Can anyone tell me when I can expect my iPhone or even if I can see if it is backordered? AT&T customer support has been no help. Also is anyone in the same situation as me? Appreciate the help guys!

Welcome to the club.. Call 611, ask to speak to a customer retention specialist. Ask them for details. My suggestion, get out while you can. Cancel your order, go to Apple store and get it. Wish I could.

My friend who ordered at Apple.com was just told his phone will be arriving on 28th
 
If yours is still backordered then if I were in your situation I would call around local stores today to see if they had any in stock. If they did I would call AT&T and try to cancel my preorder, and if they give you a hard time just asked to be transferred to retentions or say you would like to Cancel your entire AT&T service. But I suppose if all of your local stores are sold out including any Apple stores, you may just have to sit tight. If you start a fresh order today online you may be waiting a month

I think EXTP is short for external premier, since the orders came in through the premier site and were subsequently entered later in the main order system.

Mine is still back ordered, and the upgrade eligibility check now is giving me a strange error saying my line cannot be upgraded (not even at full price). This is not the case with my other line that I upgraded through apple (and just shipped today)
 
When did you place this order? I seriously hope this is not true.

I placed it online, Friday before 7:30am EST. I have a regular plain vanilla mobile share account. Received email confirm immediately with 9/21 delivery date followed by a second email congratulating me on using ATT and lettin me know my order had been sent to the warehouse for shipment.
 
I have the same thing. FAN discount. lame...

Yeah, I didn't know accepting the small discount from my employer meant that my life as a user would be completely undoable.. "oh your part of a national contract" ... Wha???? I still pick my own plans, features, pay for my own phone, its my personal phone.... why do I have to deal with people who know nothing, and have to place my order, ON MY BEHALF... i mean really.

I ordered through the phone. But if they processed the phones later. They surely took their money right then and there. I got and accepted the terms email while I was on the phone with the rep. I also I didn't get the order status email until 4:02am Saturday. So maybe they did.
